Mae was born a hermaphadite. Both sexes. I believe it was Maes decision to be a woman because in most cases hermaphadites are impotent and can't use that part anyway. Jamie Lee Curtis was also born a hermaphadite. They're all born sterile because mother nature knows best. You can see the masculine side in both of them .

Oh she is just TOO MUCH!!! My fave moment is when she struts downstage in pure BURLESQUE fashion and blows that little puff of air while "Sammie" is calling out "Dalila, Dalila" - that woman knew EXACTLY what she was all about - - and so FUNNY! This cracks me up every single time. Luvya Mae!
