I think, as a profesional player, he shouldn't be judged even if he joined Man Utd. He Leave Anfield cos Rafa didn't put him in his plan while he started being a Reds Manager at Anfield. And when Owen had to leave Real, he want comeback to Liverpool, but Newcastle gave a better price for him. When he leave Newcastle, only Man Utd and Hull City, premier league clubs wanted him.

we were gna get him bak in 2005 but he opted for newcastle cuz they payed more. He's had a horrible time at newcastle with injuries so i think its justified that rafa didn't sign him because first of all he turned his back on liverpool, and second his record at newcastle.
