How do I unlock mouse , the player moves with the mouse insted moving only the cross, how do I fix this?

@7hePow ye thanks man all so someone from bitgamer were I got the game send me the +mlook for consol. Hoever I realize this hapens only when I press alt+tab.

How do you install this mod? Could some one explain to someone who has 0 knowledge on how to get it. I only have the game quake. I don't have any fancy programs. Do I need something to go with this mod? Or could I just download this program and then what?

@tekakaroboy Simply download Dark Places. It's an optimized version of the game engine, but without the game itself. As you have the game, after extracting Dark Places anywhere just copy the folder "ID1" into the folder the "darkplaces.exe" is located. Start "darkplaces.exe" and you're already there.

I like these new Image Packs, but they couldve updated the resolution of the enemy polygons. They still have that N64 blocky appearence. But the updated Image Packs and lighting effects are still awesome.

@TheWaynelds QRP started remodeling the game, but lost the models some way back. It's still on halt. Time will tell... ;)

I'm actually baffled that Darkplaces runs on max on my 8 year old pc xD

Anyway it looks neat and when done right it keeps it close to vanilla Quake :3

People today think that Brown and Bloom = Realistic as fuck graphics.

this video has graphics on par with battlefield 3, if not BETTER.

Something tells me i just upset an army of fanboys.

Get the fuck over it. Battle the field/Duty Calls is overrated. (Unless it's BF2, 1942, vietnam, 2142, or COD1-2. The big red one was pretty good too.)

I think the same thing every time I see any HD upgrade to old FPS games. HD must be latin for PITCH FUCKING BLACK impossible to see.
