@Shanniquitie Femme Fatale is by Jackie Curtis. You are thinking of Valerie Solanas who nearly killed Andy Warhol. Her script (which I think a version of was published as her "SCUM (Society for Cutting Up Men) Manifesto) was never performed to my knowledge
OH MY ISIS! Thank you Craig!!! I often wondered if people really believed my stories about what NYC was like then, but now here is more PROOF! XXX Jayne County
Jayne I love you! We are so lucky to have been a part of it all! (I had no idea at the time how unique this theatrical experimentation was!) xoxoxo Craig
check out Theresa Colombus some time...she lives in Baltimore now...but I was lucky enough to see many of her shows at Darling Hall in Milwaukee...if you like this you'll love her....just a friendly suggestion
FANTASTIC !!!!!!!! You always come up with things i thought didn't exist. You're right, there is nothing like this today. Sometimes i think i was born too late and at the wrong place. I just finished reading Jayne's Man enough to be a woman book and Jackie was a big inspiration for her. Jayne will surely be surprised to see that you had this. I'm sure you still have some other surprises for us... i'll be waiting. Pierre
Bonjour Pierre, merci cher ami! After reading Jayne's book I certainly wanted her to be in "Superstar in a Housedress", alas she was too burned out after performing and it was my last day of production in New York City!
I wanted to ask you this question but i was too shy because some people have their own personal reasons. Too bad you/she couldn't make it. When will the 2 DVD Colectors edition will come out ? EHEhehehehheeh.
The cast also includes Warhol Superstar Penny Arcade! And yes, Wayne County is now the fabulous Jayne County! Take a good look, kids - this was experimental theater back in the late 1960s - early 1970s, there is truly nothing like this today.
Holy shit - this totally makes up for me missing it in the first place because I didn't live in New York in the fun time period LOL I LOVE the footage of Patti - do you have any more clips featuring her?
The talented Miss Smith always looked like a guy so I guess audiences didn't know if she was one of the drag queens.

Yes, the very same. Somewhere I have a fabulous photograph of Curtis and Tony at a party. He was a wonderful creative man.
