Can anyone enlighten me about something?

Why does Numan act manlier now, I mean, more rocker and less androgynous (he was a god with that blue and white make up).

I love the way he danced before he turned dark/gothic onstage. No more shaking his hips as well, just headbanging overall... Too macho for me, but still cool.

@NeverGetOld2009 OK??? The thing is I still find him hot. I can accept his human looking tanned skin, and spiked up extra black hair but he's wearing too many damn t shirts and dressing too much like a goth kid in a school.

OK, OK. Gary still has his looks, especially the body it's still skinny and everything's still tight and in place & his butt looks like a lil' question mark, but he needs to put on a nice sexy suit on stage much like Nick Cave and his crew.

@NeverGetOld2009 Otherwise I agree with you totally. Numan was at his most bangable (over and over again) with the all black shirt and tie and trousers/pants business back on the Touring Pronciple '79 with his red and blue tie.

i think the history of Gary is he got into music in the first place to raise money for an airline..... he didnt make mistakes and leave the industry with his head down... I think he had other plans than to stay in the business... 'new wave' was always doomed and planned obselesence....now he's more on the NIN side of things now ... as far as I can see.

All though I have great respect for this guy he has made so many mistakes in his career, Around 1982 he started trying to write more commercial songs to make more money, a classic mistake. He never recovered and at least he's gone back to his darker roots but he will never be main stream again and after chatting to him many times I think that's what he always wanted. He is consistant and deserves credit for still making music and touring, good lick to him.
