Less plentiful species are more demanded for this activity and it is fatal for them.

@octobermonsters Average time of one catch is about five minutes. Then the Phodopus is usually removed from cage and hold inside car in special box with food, water and hide (wood shavings and so). The whole activity is for scientific purposes via banding trapped birds.
