Will it allow to burn up to 4.37GB?

  • @baorichy7 Your USB drive has to be big enough...

  • So could i put a Mac OSX iso on the flash drive and run it like a cd.

  • thanks im hopeing to install windows from this coz i hate windows vista ( it crap ) so ill try fredora and then if that dont work ill try windows 7 dvd/usb thing! thanks

  • thank you, it was very useful...

  • can you instal windows from this too???

  • @MetalicFuryx Yes, but I would strongly recommend using Microsoft's tool called Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool which is found on Microsoft's website.

  • @thetechzonelive i know that windows 7usbdvd but doesnt work to for xp system so i was wondering if this could help to try for a xp system

  • @MetalicFuryx If LiveUSB doesn't work, try unetbootin

  • Whenever i use this, unetbootin, lili, etc, it just stays at the black screen with the white underscore :/

I've been trying to a couple months now and the only thing I've been able to get to work is jolicloud, which I don't like because I don't have wifi access.

  • @willmck12 the file you are trying to write to the drive might be corrupted.

  • @thetechzonelive I was thinking that, but I've tried about 6 different distros. I mean they still could be, but the chances of all of them being messed up are pretty low

    : /

  • @willmck12 Hmm... I know that if the computer keeps giving the blinking underscore, it's trying to find the operating system so perhaps there is a bug in the program. Are the flash drives formated in Fat32?

  • @thetechzonelive Yes it's FAT32. I got it to boot this time, checked disk for errors and nothing came up, but when I try to install or try without install it does: Can not mount /dev/loop2 on /cow

    Googline now XD

  • @thetechzonelive Thanks, got it to boot with FAT32. When I try to install or try without install it says "Can not mount /dev/loop1 on /cow"

  • @thetechzonelive Ah, fat 32 got it to work :P

I had it on ntfs because I read somewhere not to use fat32 so I didn't even try that yet.

Then i got a "Can not mount /dev/loop1 on /cow", I googled it and if you just discard at shutdown it works.

  • when i went to the like there was a warning says ( Warning: There are virus-infected copies of the Windows liveusb-creator floating around various download sites on the internet. Only download the Windows liveusb-creator from this page! )

  • ama try see if it works

  • THANK YOU! OMG I DON'T EVER WANT TO SEE PEOPLE UPLOAD VIDEOS ABOUT THE ACTUAL "INSTALLATION" PROCCESS. EVER!

  • nicee

  • thx , this is the best video of this kind awesome job man!!!

  • There's also uNetbootin, it's good app also! Good Video!!

  • @cjclaxon Yes, in fact I found uNetbootin to be a bit better and was what I used to install Ubuntu to my netbook.

  • awesome. I've seen many vids but this is the best.
