If a supra beats a car off the line then it will rape it in the long stretch. Once a supra has it's power down it's unbeatable and most of the kick is at the top. I have one single turbo supra and it's a beast!

@damonsta80 Yes I know that the ej engine is an amazing engine. I will accept that. The GTR Supra and the is 300 all have the potential to be AMAZING cars. I am in no way saying they are slow at all or that they are not good cars. But, there is a difference in the car from a supra and a Ferrari. Ferrari's are hand built and are beautiful cars that dont break down very much and are pretty reliable and they are not slow. (next comment)
@Caleb12top the italian cars no no no sorry they will break you have to do alot with the internals to make power ,supra you dont have to even touch the internals to make 765hp you can build on the stock internals and once you start to mess with the internals as you would do the ferrari its a done deal the upgrades become so sick you would shit your pants lol add a storker kit to up the liter and you got yourself a very fast beast ,a beast is a beast no matter what people say
@damonsta80 yes they are fast. But teh thing is with Supercars you pay the company to do the work for you. So the reliability is not decreased. and making almost 800hp you will have to change the internals... it will break so fast. Im not saying that the Supra or the 2jz engine cars are not good. They are fucking awesome. But, if you had the money to buy a Ferrari it would be the car to get. its the status symbol that goes along with the car.
@Caleb12top so for this US market the is300 borrowed the 2jz motor from the gs300 na motor not the supra because the spec on them are closer to the gs300 not the supra at all ,if a mechanic knows what he is doing your reliability wont decreased you can carry your car to the company and the tec do a dumb jobs ,and no sir no internals have been change,look we have a rx7 with a 1jz in it and it made 785hp without changing the internals and it did 10.60sec without breaking
@damonsta80 we got 4 runs plus it drive back to base from palm beach to fortlauderdale my boy have a supra which is a daily drive and it has about the same power as the 1jz car has no cams in that motor just a turbo upgrade and nothing break me myself has a gs300 with a aristo swap with 652hp and its a daily driver and this car been from texas to fortlauderdale ,fortlauderdale to new york and i travel alot and it never broke down ,
@Caleb12top naw i got the aristo motor it self i didnt build the stock motor that was in the car if thats what your thinking ,the aristo in japan come turbo from the factory so i didnt have nothing much to do but to drop it in and take the twins set up off and just get a single with the manifold and a few stuff but no crazy bolt work ,
@Caleb12top all i am saying is i know what these motor can do and how much power you can build before you start messing with the internals ,and if you get a tom's computer upgrade your good ,look i just change my twins to a single and a better intercooler and pipes and i am good ,if i want more than what i have i just get a bigger turbo and and better injectors stay with my wal fuel pump and good dyno tune and i am good ,they are not as weak as you think they are good to mess with

@Caleb12top well that depends on alot of stuff if you dont know what your doing and build your car wrong or if you build a motor that cannot take alot of mods well ya it will break but some motors are just good and can take alot more than some not to say your wrong i agree with you but they are a few motors out there that you can build up and they will last you just like a daily would and the inline 6 motors are those types,1j,2j,skyline,e36,e46 and the inline 6 motors in the benz
@damonsta80 But then there are cars like the supra that are a lot cheaper and you can build to be really fast. But they just are not the same. The ride is rougher its a hell of a lot louder, its less comfortable to ride in. But if you dont care about that (like me) they are awesome cars. And when you make one of these cars that fast to beat a Ferrari or lambo that is stock, you are going to have to rebuild the engine and repair a lot while the Ferrari is still going.

@Caleb12top ok the supra and is300 have the same 2jz series but here is the difference the specs and some slight difference on minor parts but the spec are totally different and keep in mind that the is300 has a closer spec to the gs300 not a supra n/a ,now what you thought you knew of the is300 is not what you think the 2jz motor was drop in it for the US market the is300 you know is really an altezza which is a 4cylinder turbo
@damonsta80 I agree!, and the reality is that supercars are so out of most peoples price range its not funny...and when you compare that to a car like the Nissan GTR, while still coming in well over 100K, you get a car which is comparable performance wise for more than half the price... you dont have too look any further than the top gear test track time to get an idea of how these type of cars can mix with the italian beasts

As well as we all know the E46 is THE GREATEST STRAIGHT EVER BUILT PERIOD! Please do your research..

@stormisback F430 are 175k around here. Whats not stock about it..however a car leaves the factory is its stock setup. Just because everything about the Ferrari is better that the Supra besides the engine block and how fast it is in a straight line doesnt mean its modified. Its also not a supercar...being a exotic, top of the line sports car, doesnt mean your in the same class as Veyrons, Paganis, Koenigseggs or an Enzo. Pretty sad when to make one car look good...you have to tear down another.

The ONLY way you could ever get away with calling this a fair race is to mod the ferrari or return the supra to stock. This race was anything but a fair race for the fact that the ferrari was not running turbos resulting in much less horsepower.

I am in no way saying they are slow at all or that they are not good cars. But, there is a difference in the car from a supra and a Ferrari. So the reliability is not decreased. and making almost 800hp you will have to change the internals... it will break so fast. Im not saying that the Supra or the 2jz engine cars are not good. They are fucking awesome. But, if you had the money to buy a Ferrari it would be the car to get. its the status symbol that goes along with the car.

@Caleb12top so for this US market the is300 borrowed the 2jz motor from the gs300 na motor not the supra because the spec on them are closer to the gs300 not the supra at all ,if a mechanic knows what he is doing your reliability wont decreased you can carry your car to the company and the tec do a dumb jobs ,and no sir no internals have been change,look we have a rx7 with a 1jz in it and it made 785hp without changing the internals and it did 10.60sec without breaking

@damonsta80 we got 4 runs plus it drive back to base from palm beach to fortlauderdale my boy have a supra which is a daily drive and it has about the same power as the 1jz car has no cams in that motor just a turbo upgrade and nothing break me myself has a gs300 with a aristo swap with 652hp and its a daily driver and this car been from texas to fortlauderdale ,fortlauderdale to new york and i travel alot and it never broke down ,

The ride is rougher its a hell of a lot louder, its less comfortable to ride in. But if you dont care about that (like me) they are awesome cars. And when you make one of these cars that fast to beat a Ferrari or lambo that is stock, you are going to have to rebuild the engine and repair a lot while the Ferrari is still going.

I have huge respect for 2jz...but all the dumbass that drive them think theyre experts. I can pick up a supra for 15k and put 15k into it and smash damn near anything on the street so people might think i have a big cock. Alot of people do buy Ferraris for the same reason but at least Ferraris are made properly and tuned specifically for racing on a track. Just because everything about the Ferrari is better that the Supra besides the engine block and how fast it is in a straight line doesnt mean its modified. Its also not a supercar...being a exotic, top of the line sports car, doesnt mean your in the same class as Veyrons, Paganis, Koenigseggs or an Enzo. @Bebo733733 How in the hell can you say that the supra won fair and square when the supra had to be highly modded to beat the ferrari? the ferrari had no chance in hell of being able to beat a highly modded supra that had to be boosted. The ONLY way you could ever get away with calling this a fair race is to mod the ferrari or return the supra to stock. This race was anything but a fair race for the fact that the ferrari was not running turbos resulting in much less horsepower.

I laugh at your so called logic for real because this same supra would not even have been seen next to ANY ferrari in its stock form so keep this in mind as you brag up your supra. Regardless of the cost of the ferrari your still not comparing apples to apples because the supra is modded the ferrari is not.

@pyro74boy Ferrari is fucking modified why don't you see this! It comes with more power and more torque, The company made the car fast from the get go. The supra however didn't come as fast as a ferrar. With some mods however it rips shit. This is fact.

Learn to tell the deference between a bone stock car and a modded car for real.
