  • EXCELLENT !

    Thanks for that, Iam.

  • Still playing and sounding better than ever. Pick up the new live CD, "Fortyfied" celebrating Nektar's 40th Anniversary. You can get it on the website nektarsmusic.

  • I saw NEKTAR at the St. Paul Theater MN in 1978....one of the best shows ever, sadley I don't remember a hole lot of it "too high"....I would love to see some more vintage concert footage!

  • Never saw them live, but sure loved their albums back in the 70's!!

  • Catch up with all their stuff on nektarsmusic . com

  • Singularly the most underrated band in my lifetime.

Their collective album catalogue is nothing short of amazing.

Oh, many a good night (under a certain influence) listening to their music

  • @harkerlana I could not agree more.

  • Hervorragend, aberbitte etwas mehr Sound

  • thanks for posting this great band

  • This is the same "band" (NEKTAR) that released "Magic Is A Child." The lead guitar player in both videos, Roye Albrighton, left NEKTAR before it was recorded/released. What you're seeing is a well-done merge of two videos of the same song recorded by the original & (briefly) reunited band-members. The older one was probably 1973-4, & the most recent was recorded at NEARFest 2002.

  • Does anyone know if this is the band that sang "Magic Is A Child"?

  • This looks to be from the DVD that was released from their performance at NEARfest 2002. This was the first time they had performed with the original lineup since ca. 1976! They were also joined by their original lighting guy Mick Brockett! I was at this show and it was fantastic!

  • Could you please post the old video on its own? And maybe raise the volume a bit.

    Thanks, —Jono

  • Wow! delicious traveller!

    i love it

  • post the old video on its own

  • Very nice job of editing the two films!

  • Audio to low.....

  • It might be low but these guys are great. I have all of there stuff on LP.
