You say stuff like you think people probably think you're horrible at this game - the only things I see that I think of as being "bad" are things you overlook/forget to do. Shooting all the poo/fires, checking every room, that kind of thing. I think I would spazz about trying to move and shoot at the same time, but at least it's keyboard controls and not both moving and aiming using the mouse. It's almost impossible to move the opposite way you aim when it is.

You aren't looking for TINTED rocks. Not just the blue ones, there are various colors of tinted rocks to bomb, each drop things. One time I had one drop a locked chest and it had a key, some bombs, some hearts, and a temp heart in it.

More often then not the black tinted ones contain an item.

Secret rooms are often in between blocks of rooms. Like say you have room to the left, top, bottom, and right, chances are VERY good there is a secret room linking them all together.

The easiest way to unlock Cain is to play on the slot machine and hope for a dollar don't try to save up to the required 55 cents it's just too difficult.

In order to unlock JUDAS you need to beat Mom and then complete the game second time, but now after you beat her you'll have two additional levels (The Womb) with standart bosses appearing IN PAIRS in rooms with new really cool bosses in the end of each level. Also you may encounter Loki miniboss in battle rooms there.

JUDAS has only 1 heart in the beggining, but has Book of Belial item which gives maximum damage for one room.

Also he has a fez. It's pretty cool.

You can get a ladder from the shop, and use it to cross one square wide holes. You can also trade with satan to get ''Lord of the Pit'' that allows you to fly over almost anything like rocks, spikes, and brain ooze.

Best upgrade I've found so far is the upside down crucifix. Turns you into a demon that can fly. You fly over rocks, pits, spikes...everything, really. You could even hover over a pit and stump the melee enemies' AI. This upgrade is only available as a devil deal, as far as I know.

I unlocked Maggy and Cain yesterday. It's totally luck; I somehow got something like 30 cents on the first floor, and it just worked out to get 55 cents that run. It was really the same with Maggy and getting a lot of hearts early. It's all luck.
