I so want someone to help me find that one song I heard only once - I think in 1964 or 5 about 'a young girl' hitching, I think, and the haunting song ended with 'a young girl, lying on the roadside' - song a warning to young people concerning the dangers of hitching. So many years ago, and memory is such a fluid thing, but the words of the song sent an arrow into my heart and I still feel the pain.

great stuff man, like the visualization, very mature high vocal control, very soulful, I can sing this song, as long as I take it an octave down...I'm naturally a bass, I memorize the bass guitar lines and belt em out in a college ska band, then switch to the melody on trumpet, throws everybody off!
