umm ok, watch the video, you will see the piece of paper of debris move from the tower to the ajoining building at 1:10:23-28 now a lazer is invisible and is as small as a head of a pin. Now a lazer would not reflect off the fireball. And besides why go through all that trouble and use a plane. If a laser is for smart bombs then why not uses bombs? What a noob.

It's a piece of debri. A laser beam would have vanished for a moment before crossing the face of the other building. It seems to keep a consistent speed, not undulating over the contours of the smoke.
