Rang De Chunariya, the broader meaning of this is to Krishna that Hye Krishna, please make my life with full of your (krishna's) colors such a way that the materialistic objects won't bother me.

There was another "Rang De Chunaria" bhajan from Anup Jalota that often reverberates my mind from my childhood memories of mid-80's. But I am not able to find it online anywhere. The wordings were something like this :

"Rang De Chunaria.... hey Giridhari.. Rang De Chunaria hey.. hey Girdhari.. Koi Kahe Ise Maili Chadaria... Koi Kahe Ise Paap Gatharia... Apne hi Rang mein Rang De Murari.. Rang De Chunaria.. hey..hey.. Giridhari.."

no one that i no of can sing devotional songs as emotionally as anup jalota. ghulam ali is the king of ghazals so he doesn't qualify so anup jalota is clearly the best in devotional song.
