castaway studio is the company that made this the people are the same peeps that made diablo 2 they left blizzard .. however this game was competing with titan quest but thq the publisher chose titan quest

The problem with the hack'n'slash genre is most people who review/play them don't appreciate a good hack'n'slash. These games aren't for amazing graphics, compelling storyline, or creative gameplay. They are there for you to create a char, not think, and SLASH. They just need a good enough loot/skill system to make you want to play that extra 10 minutes because you might level up/find that awesome item.Looks like a great foundation if you ask me, nice semi-fast fights with plenty of enemies.

Another mediocre Diablo clone. A gripping story and great innovation made Diablo amazing, and it appears that the only people that can make it amazing yet again is Blizzard. These clones are only fun for an hour and they make you wanna go play Diablo. :P

You should know though that the people that actually made Diablo & most of it's sequel where of a studio that Blizzard bought when diablo was already finished but not released.

The VAST MAJORITY of them moved on to form Flagship & Castaway. So this game was actually made by the people that made Diablo. Read up... Blizzard makes great games too though, and unfortunately for Flagship, hellgate wasn't too good for a spiritual successor to Diablo.

And YOU should know that these aren't the only members of the team. There was tons of members of the team and plenty of them split up and made several companies. It's blizzards funds and drive that make the games great, not necessarily the people, they seem to be capable of replacing anyone.

A little thing I noticed though, that one spell where you hear the character yell and then he slams the ground in a shockwave. The noise is the exact same as the barbarian warcries in D2. Just a little funny thing I noticed.

The music has been edited so closely with this vid that it could have been made in-house when this developer had money, or at least written for the game. As this company has 14 days to get financing, and this is not what the industry wants any more, it would seem, then I see no hope for this developer, or the other 5 that have closed their doors in the last 60 days. Video gaming (and especially PC gaming) is going through a revolution/downturn of huge proportions. No time ro be a AAA developer.
