  • SOUNDS LIKE A 6V71N/Voith D864.3

  • Who did this Fishbowl belong to originally?

  • I think it was from Rhode Island. I'll ask my friends when I see them.

  • Friend, This bus was bought by me from Appleton WI Transit Authority, driven to Providence RI, and ran for a couple of years for Rhode Island Bus Service. It was sold to Art Smith, a bus collector in Washingtonville NY, and he may have sold it to someone else. bill

  • how did he get ahold of one?

    how many mpg??

  • I want to see the Fishbowl of the Bus in Action in the Video, as a big bus Fan, I like to see it.

  • I'm sorry I couldn't get the video because it was late at night when my friend took his bus out for a spin.

  • Cool!

  • What in the World is that fishbowl going so fast?

  • It had fast take off. He was doing 70 miles an hour.

  • This fishbowl sound doesn't actually sound like that. Buddy must of sped the sound up with some editor. I can tell he did this by the idle sound of the bus. It sounds like 700 rpm and fishbowls usually idle at 500rpm. But it still sounds decent oh and the 6V71N in this clip can't rev that high only up to 2400rpm I think this one was doing like 2800rpm. Sounding like a 6V53N.

  • Got to have a little fun sometimes.

  • Haha, yup true that! =) I've done that before with engine sounds and I must say it is fun! And sounds cool.
