I agree that Fallout New Vegas is okay game, but those glitches or bugs whatever you call them are annoying. I have owned it about 5 days now, and there has been a lot of bugs present. What I have encountered are: My Playstation 3 freezes if there's too much action on the screen, usually after a gunbattle when you kill the final enemy that is attacking you, the game shows it in slow-mo. When it's about to start, it freezes. And yes, I have seen enemies sunk underground and running through walls!
I'm not all that familiar with console games, but looking at other comments, I give my support to Warlock for the SNES as well. It seems interesting enough, and I do enjoy the movie it's based on.
Bram Stoker's Dracula, Clock tower, Demon's crest, Ghoul patrol, GS Mikami, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Nosferatu, Super ghouls'n ghosts, Warlock or Zombies ate my neighbors for SNES.
Attack of the killer tomatoes, Akumajou special - boku Dracula kun, Alien 3, Beetlejuice, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Frankenstein the monster returns, Gargoyle's quest 2, Ghosts'n goblins, Ghoul school, Gremlins 2, Monsters in my pocket, New ghostbusters 2 or Swamp thing for NES.
Have you done Shadowgate for the NES? That's not too long, and I guess could be stretched to the horror genre. ;) (with a kid's imagination it could, at least)
Can you capture PC games? Have you considered playing something like the Alone in the Dark series or American McGee's Alice (console sequel coming out later next year, FYI)? Or Eternal Darkness for GameCube (GREAT game)?
Also: Not really a horror game, more of a comedy-noir, but I suggest a run of Nightshade: Claws of Sutekh. I enjoyed the game when I was younger, but was probably too young to figure out how to play the game -- all I really remember about it now is that it's full of puns.
It's tough to actually pick a horror game for those systems. since there weren't that many and most were part of a series. If I had to pick I'd say Clock Tower if you can do it.
I have yet to play the Professor Layton games, I'm courious about them though. There is actually a game for the 3DS being made as well, Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright.
After seeing the Nerd's re-review of it, I would like to see someone actually BEAT Jekyll and Hide. Or perhaps you could do the Genesis GhostBusters game (since it's not directly based on the movie and is it's own story set in that universe). Just a thought.
I have watched every PIT that he has in his playlists before I subscribed, and haven't missed one since. I don't remember and Jekyll and Hyde one. Plus, I just looked through all his playlists and didn't see it. If he has done it, please point me in the right direction so I can find it.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Since you mentioned it in during your last play it through). Either that or Double Dragon II. I'll have to think about it.
If you want good quality capturing, get two splitters and connect that to your tv and the outputs to your capture card/device and for example your PS3, my capture card costed me like $5 and i got great quality check my "easycap first test - wii" and thats the medium quality..
does the capture device capture everything ? PAL/NTSC 50Hz/60Hz ? check that out ;)
hey dude i was wondering if you could do a video blog on your thoughts on final fantasy XIV. I know alot of people have been bashing it but i was just curious as to your thoughts and how well you think it will hold up against the competition. As for horror based game, maybe bram stokers dracula would be a good one to do since you dont see too many playthroughs of it. Take care man hope you feel better.
I would suggest Ghoul School. A friend of mine suggested School Terror Story. Ghoul School is NES and I warn you, TERRIBLE from what I've seen. School Terror Story is for SNES, known as Gakkou de atta Kowai Hanashi as it's Japan only, but my friend said a translated rom should be out. So, yeah, hope that helps. You're awesome cornshaq, keep up the good work :)
Lots of easy horror themed games for you to beat within a week Corn. Ghoul School for NES, Vampire: Master Of Darkness for Game Gear. Beetlejuice for NES Chakan for Game Gear, Haunted House for Atari 2600, Porky PIg's Haunted Holiday for SNES. Many Many more too that I can't think of.
Oh ok, well a minor mistake that definitely doesn't take away at all
I actually liked the commentary that time around more for some reason, maybe it had something to do with you praising the game in a few areas including music whip and a few other things instead of just tips and tricks to make us be "Pro"
haha cute dog....btw im going to agree with Beetlejuice...one of my fav. movies of all time....and most say the game is crappy but i happened to had enjoyed it when i was younger....ok not gonna lie i still enjoy it to this day! =D keep rockin the vids bud

I second Beetlejuice. Serves the Halloween purpose well and brings back the nightmares of having to play those shitty LJN games. It's a win-win situation.
