I play a healer priest and shaman, and enjoy it tremendously. Though, I've never gotten a healer class past 55 or so until recently. I intend to level my shaman healer to 85 (duel spec'd of course). Healbot is no longer necessary. Blizzard finally came up with their equivalent that does these exact features, except for the resurrection notice. It lacks the pet health bar, which some of you may find useful. This new system takes the place of the party sidebar and instead shows up as a green grid, much similar to Healbot. It may be found under settings. This alternative solution is a lot less complicated, Blizzard created and approved, and I recommend it as an avid PVP healer. Cheers, Pally.

Thanks for the video! I've been using this tutorial since it was first released. This guide helps increase the effectiveness of HealBot tenfold.

Do you know when you will have the free time to update the tutorial? I was able to dissect a few settings by re-watching the guide, but the in game menus for HealBot have changed quite a bit.

I've been using healbot for almost two years now on WoW, I love it but this might sound like a dumb question, would you know if you can turn off pet bars? I've tryed countless times and sometimes I just really hate having them on there, and will always end up healing a pet instead of a player. I like how at one point yours showed "Pets" I've never used that setup before, I'm definitely going to go try it.

@MsNerdStatus A lot of healers detest healing pets. However pets provide a lot of utility and output both in pve and pvp. Going into cataclysm pets provide major buffs, with hunters providing even bloodlust/heroism. So in short, healing pets are just about as important as healing actual players.

@MsNerdStatus Some of the addons for hotbars allow users to disable the pet bar. I currently use bartender version4 which allows me to enable/disable or even reposition the pet bar. The only drawback to using bartender is that it revokes your ability to use shift+1 and shift+2 which allowed me to switch between hotbar 1 and 2 respectfully. That was very upsetting because I had memorized my hotbars to my playing style. However, bartender is now too useful for me to give up so I've had to adjust.

@Huzzawful Yes that is correct. It consolidates all the relavent information and abilities of a healer. Consider it a Central Command for healing. While it gets more usefull the more people that are involved, it is completely worthwhile to use while soloing or in 5 man dungeons. Its even useable on non-healers once you get used to it functions (keeping buffs up, etc).

For general debuffs my healbot has a default colour change from the default green of the health bars to a really really dark purple colour and I can't find any way to make the colour of the bar easier to see against the background of HB. This is really irritating because when raid debuffs come out (e.g. the innoculations on Festergut in ICC) everyone's bar is really hard to tell where their health is at. Where would I change this setting?

ATTENTION DISC PRIESTS: Youll want Weakened Soul to show up as a debuff so you know if the target can receive your shield or not ahead of time. Go to the cure tab and cick custom. type in Weakened Soul and make the debuff a color of your choice. This helps a lot for raids and PVP.

@A7XFanNr1 Try running World of Warcraft as Admin. Right click on the Icon you click to play World of Warcraft and select Properties. Then under Advanced button or something along those lines, select "Run As Administrator". That should allow the game or write to the directory.

Here is a question you probably have not been asked so far!

I just purchased the Razor Naga Mouse with the 12 button key pad on the left side of the mouse. The only way I have figured out a way to use the buttons effectively is if I click on the player, which as we all know is pointless for Healbot.
