Looks like you ran into the same issue I did - I bought a keychain spycam, extracted the PCB out of the fob, and attached it to the LG of my Blade MSR - unfortunately it was too heavy to get any decent altitude - feel free to check my in-air videos, but they're pretty much "up in the air for a bit and then CRASH'" mode =)

I finally broke down earlier this week and bought an E-Razor 450 - that should have NO problems with carrying the camera aloft, but I'm a bit intimidated by the heli's size =)

You may want to look into a Trex 250 or one of the clones (like the HK-250GT). Same flying characteristics as the 450 size helicopters, but only about 1/2 the size. Look for "trex 250 fpv" here on YouTube for some really nice videos.

Did you use a mirror with this? The time is reversed... ??

No. The camera was mounted upside down, so I had the flip the image. :)
