I have this book. I have read it many times. I think it's a really good book. Once my mother came to my room when I read this book. And the conversation went like this:

@snapmode5 It's the euphoria. I myself am a recovering heroin addict and comparing the high you get from weed to the high you get from heroin is just impossible. Heroin detaches you completely from the world. It feels like you have died and gone to heaven. People do heroin for a variety of reasons, mostly stemming from childhood problems, but most people don't do it because they are "pushing it to the extreme" it's just that they NEED that extreme and that marijuana just doesn't do it.

And I completely agree with you on how you feel about weed. For some people it's just not enough. It's frightening how drugs really work. The higher up the ladder you go from weak to very hard drugs, the more euphoric and less disoriented you feel. I look at heroin like a love/hate relationship haha

i met nikki in october 2006 in toronto at the air canada center. at the time i was a resident of covenant house toronto. i was in the paper with nikki holding a big cheque he donated to CH toronto for $10k to start running wild in the night. afterwards i got to go backstage at their concert with aerosmith and got my copy of the dirt signed. my picture and guest pass is on the wall and the press clip is scanned on my pc. what a great day. im also a former junkie myself on methadone. thanks nikki

Just finish reading it today. Cuz I just bought this around like 3 days ago and I got to tell you its very addicting to read it. I plan to re read this maybe next week cuz it very breathtaking and heartbreaking at times but at the end of the chapter well its very heartwarming.

Now that is one fucked up story, quite possibly the craziest bio I have ever read in my life. She said she screwed her own father, and started to like it and look forward to it. This went on for YEARS. She did heroin while pregnant! WOW

amazing video! and the story is so sad... i really like the sentence :" Please, God, Make it stop." I really think that Nikki is an awesome person and if he came outta drug is only his merit. I think that The Heroin Diaries is the best book I've ever read and the best i'll ever read!!

I can't order from e-bay because Im under 18 and therefore not have a mastercard/visa. My card only works in my country's banks n shit. Amazon won't ship to my country. His website equals same shipping as amazon. So thats a no go. Seriously, are you that ignorant?

I am reading the book now, and I have to admit it is pretty sad...I honestly feel like Nikki tried hard several times to quit, and FINALLY he does...thank goodness. I LOVE this book & hope that you will.

this book is amazing. it has made me realise how what i would of called 'partying' is really a downward spiral towards insanity. it also encouraged me to chase my dreams, for this i thank nikki, and everyone who participated in that book. thank you nikki.
