I'm an English Iranian, and this show just makes me want to die. Only Beverly Hills Iranians are like the idiots on that show. Iranians are warm hearted, kind, caring, family orientated people, not money crazy, cold, shallow, bitter people. It makes me rage knowing that people that may not know much about us Iranians will watch that show and think we're all like that. I hope Bravo take that show down, it's disgusting and it makes me feel as though I should be ashamed of being 'Persian.'

I love this statement. I'm American, non-Persian, but I love Iran. They worship poets, with elaborate gardens built on their tombs. Passionate, intelligent, creative and BRAVE people. Compare Hichkas to American rappers.

I wish they hadn't named the show "Shahs on Sunset" because that glorifies the name of the Shah of Iran, who killed many Iranians. And can i ask u, do most Iranian-Americans have forable view of him? Because i know that usually the immigrants from countries with dictators, such as latin americans, have favorable view of the dictator because they are from the same wealthy class that benefited from their rule. In college, a Persian girl defended the Shah's actions in a discussion with me. Peace.

@bigleroygym Please, don't knock my Shah like you knew anything about him. What you've learned in school is far from the truth. The Shah did NOT kill people, and certainly no worse than the CIA of today or yesterday who brutally tortures AND kills people. Sure, he jailed dissidents, but America doesn't???

Bottom line, this show is a mockery of what we as Iranians stand for regardless of political views. We are proud people with class and heritage, and they stain it.

The Shah was a paranoid dictator, who had many killed. This shahyadG guy is talking about the CIA, he seems to forget about the savaak.

Hopefully, the show will present a more well-rounded perspective of Iranians than the short clip shows. The trailer I saw today for the show seemed rather tongue-in-cheek/lowp, and just silly fun and games. Persians need to learn how to make fun of themselves -- especially the uptight floozies that you rap about at the end of your vlog here.
