Ovechkin isn't a team player..it's all about him. He must have the worst goal per shot percentage in the league with as many shots as he takes.

Malkin, who's a couple points behind him in the points race could have picked-up another point with the empty-netter but GAVE the point to Staal instead. THAT is a team player!

The point was Malkin's a team player for passing the puck and giving Staal a goal and point....unlike AO who would have scored the goal and wouldn't have passed the puck at all.

It was a great game to watch.

Penguins dominated for the most part.But let's not call Backstrom a idiot,he is in his first year in the NHL,he has played very good for a rookie until now so let's just say he made a big mistake today.I feel sorry for Huet,he played really good,i was thinking that we may see overtime.

Malkin was a beast today,i hope he wins the MVP Award this year.He deserves it !

Yeah but the Pens exploded in the third, like they always do. They got like 9 shots on net in 2 minutes, when the Caps only had 3. The first and second went to the Capitals, but since it was tied, I guess that just says the Penguins have better accuracy?

The Pens have better energy in my opinion.When they get going it's very hard to stop them.Just think about Malkin's line in the 3rd period in this match :))) Problem is they start their turbo late in the game when sometimes it's to late.But in this game that wasn't a problem :D Go Pens !

They played them even until Backstrom won the game for them which is pretty good considering their injuries. Crosby says he's not 100 percent yet only returning 2 days prior to this game.
