  • Schiff states about the govenment drunking up wall street... and so the Govt should be held accountable.. Bullshit.. easy example/ analogy... You go to a party and get drunk.. you drive hit a person and kill them.. whose responsible the guy who threw the party or the guy who decided to drink unresponsible drive drunk and kill a person. the driver made his choice he had the opportunity to just have a little but then he got greedy and drank alot and then lied about being ok to drive himself!!!

  • What is a "money bomb?"

  • I find everything you say so very

    understandable and logical. If the

currency crashes will it really matter

if we own gold? I'm confused.

  • @OppPaul Buying gold will lock in your dollars current purchasing power. Right now an ounce of gold will give you around $1000,00 if the currency crashes it may give you $5,000.00. So if the currency crashes and a loaf of bread costs $1000.00 the $5000.00 cash you had stashed in your mattress will only buy you five loaves of bread. Had you bought 5 oz. of gold at $1,000 each, you could've bought 25 loaves of bread. The money in your mattress is losing value as the Fed prints money.

  • Nothing is unattainable.

  • You're a good man Schiff.

  • (continued)

....being bartenders and waitresses/waiters just to put food on the table for their kids. You wanna help the people? feel what they feel for a minute

  • What a mensch!

  • This is featured, great!

  • Telling the truth and being respectable and honorable equates to money for politicians now a days. That's the message I want to ring through anyway. LET'S SEE SCHIFF RUN!!!

  • Peter Schill may have predicted the crisis(LIKE MANY OTHER AMERICANS), he still has no solution.

  • You are not listenning....he & his compay has a lot of advice on where to invest...it ain't in the United STATE (no s)

  • Sound money is a solution. The only solution.

  • The vast majority of economists and Americans did not realize the crisis was coming.

He does have a solution: a true free market

  • He has lots of solutions to many issues.

You have to focus on one issue at a time instead of expecting over night changes.

He's the guy with proven, documented foresight. He's the one with the message, but he needs us to listen and understand.

  • i've never heard any solutions from Peter Schiff. just correct predictions

  • You should watch more of Peter Schiff's videos then. 7:15

  • i've seen all of Peter Schiff's videos and i've taken some of his investment advice - so far successful. the so-called solutions i hear from him are right now unattainable. they are only surface level suggestions to "fix" the economy. he needs a policy expert to help him put his ideas in policy terms.

  • then you are not paying attention...get rid of the federal reserve, restore the gold standard, encourage savings, cut federal spending, let the market decide interest rates, and much much more.

  • and much much more like what? getting rid of the fed reserve, restore the gold standard, and let market determine rates are all unreal unattainable goals. a new way of thinking from the people is how humans will progress in all facets. this system has been proven time and time again to be a failure for all people. a few cannot rule 4ever, we've seen empires run like this crumble throughout history.

  • unreal goals to dogmatic slaves

  • realists are definitely the minority here on the web

  • @pretorious700

Your ignorance is appalling. Stop blindly accepting the absurdities the mainstream media on BOTH sides of the spectrum are spoon feeding you and the rest of the country. Look at the data yourself. Do your own, real, authentic analysis. Draw your own conclusions. Read economics books - Austrian economics books and classical economics. Feed your brain. Open your eyes. Look around. Really and truly analyze what is going on and objectively assess validity and accuracy.

  • This is only the beginning in changing ALL fiat currency systems. We first have to expose the fiat currency flaws. Remember, Gold WAS discipline.

Gold provided responsible accounting. You can't produce gold from paper and ink, so all of these mathematical, money multiplying derivatives are not possible. Leverage is dictated by gold in reserve.

There was a very important moral mechanism inherent in backing our currency by a valuable commodity. This idea is hundreds of years old.

  • It's not unattainable at all. Difficult yes, because of the work involved in educating the public on those issues, but not impossible. A change of that magnitude needs a large shift in the political discourse beyond the superficial right vs. left. The economic depression we face, has at least one positive in that people are asking why it's happening, and they are increasingly skeptical of the government's answers. People are starting to pay attention now.

  • Then you're simply not listening.

  • No, he does have a solution. So do I. So does every other student of Austrian Economics. Do a little research.

  • Help to get Peter on the Charlie Rose show.

    Email chralierose pbs . org

  • If he actually runs...he'll get more cash infusions!

  • ''Lawrence? only faggots ans sailors are names Lawrence. From now on you're Gomer Pile''

...classic line from the movie Full Metal Jacket..It really rings true for that loud mouth asshole interviewer from the Ed show.

  • ccccccccccccccooooooooooooolios.a/

  • I think the mainstream media will not cover Peter's money bomb and the success thusfar for his campaign.

They are scared that Peter is actually a hit and popular with common average people and a true American hero;like his father.

  • We must make an revolutionary and inovative change to healthcare in order to be a nation that is gentle and caring with it's citizens.

If the government gets to define our new system it's prime benefit will be to the government with sub-par healthcare for the masses that will only get worse over time.

We should have a non-profit collective insurance option with government over site of financials and quality of service. We keep our rights, privacy, and Freedom to choose.

  • I've seen O'Donnell on many shows in the past years and he is notorious for that behavior. That's why Peggy Noonan said "he's baiting you" on Joe's show. It's an insult to the intelligence of the American people. It is funny because it is so blatantly obvious what he's doing & he probably thinks he proved something. What do you want to bet Dodd comes up with something out of that interview as his talking points at campaign time? And America is tired of it. Good luck!!!

  • Peter, I tried to watch that clip on MSNBC but I could not take more than 2 minutes of it.

    Keep at it Peter.

  • If you agree with schiff you should donate. I'm a broke college student with just a few hundred dollars to my name and I still gave something, I'm willing to sacrifice a days worth of work for Schiffs senate run.

  • Its $850,000 now

  • Jesus Schiff, how did you keep your cool on the Ed Show the other day? LOL. The days of discussion and debate on naitonal television are over. That talk is always saved for behind closed doors. Welcome to the age of hidden agenda assassin interviews.

  • There is a large mall about the same size as the mall of america that was built in the medowlands called xanadu and after 4 billion to build the majority of the structure they ran out of money and the major stores like the rain forest cafe and cabellas have turned tail first the cafe couldnt get the liqure licence from east rutherford after that 40 stores pulled out next cabelas keeps shrinking the size of the store to keep the taxes down so now it may be around 1/3 the origional size.

  • Now I heard today that they plan to tear down the structure and recycle the wood and steel and concrete to help with the losses. Would have gave the local unions about 1 more year of finnish work inside to keep us busy till the next few jobs pop up. But the economy is so bad at my hall there is talk that there hasent been one permit pulled for any projects in 2010. usualy there is 5 by the end of januarry.

  • i will donate even not in US...

  • You have to be in the US to donate. I already tried.

  • We lost in reality about 350,000 jobs last month. Not 250,000 contrary to what the liars say. We are still tailspinning into oblivion and it will get worse when th inflation hits even harder a bit more down the road, as if it isn't horrific right now.

  • I am a nj union carpenter in bergen county and we have about 1/3 of the toatl population are sitting on the bench thank god for the new giants /jets stadium. but after that stops probibly look for 2/3 to be unemployed b4 the inflation starts.

  • The unemployment rate did not tick down, that is silly leftist bullshit BLS engineered "statistics" that are absolute garbage and in no way reflective of reality. The fact is it got around to the point when a bunch of people got kicked off of "unemployement" insurance....and the lessening of the rolls because the end date on that was taken away from the those claiming unemployment. I'm currently unemployed and have no Unemp filing, never will. Why am I not counted?

  • well if your going to withdraw all your savings at least buy gold with it so you don't lose buying power ;) then u can bury the gold somewhere ;)

  • email the producer and tell him what you think:

    james {at} edschultzshow {dot} com

then spread his email address around the internet. (the interviewer's name is Lawrence O'Donnell.)

  • just did that thanks.

  • SCHIFF SCHIFF SCHIFF SCHIFF!!!

  • grats Peter!

  • i dont get it...why is peter trying to fight fire with fire.....as in dodd gets free money so peter needs donation money himself....

instead why not just somehow prevent dodd from Getting money from his cronies.....why dont just the people witdhdraw all their savings out of the bank, depleting banks of their fake bullshit capitol and thereby halting the entire money transfers between these crooked politicians

  • People also need to consider that after losing over a million jobs, losing 200,000 in a month is a larger percentage job less than if we lost 200,000 at the beginning.

  • US Department of energy made available 3 billion $ lately to

alternative energy projects stalled due to tight credit .

Isn't this the same amount of money America is spending

in Iraq to protect israel from harm?

Something very wrong about this picture and its not getting any better.

  • hahahahahaha funny like that site: whoopsamerica lol

  • thanks peter

  • Yeah that show was a joke! I watched it for like 10 seconds and realized that the idiot host wouldn't let Peter talk, so I immediately turned it to something else. I am not going to be 1 of the 8 people in the world watching MSNBC. He just wanted control and the last word from the earlier talk show Mr. Schiff was on. That guy is a joke!

  • great video posted on dailypaul(dot)com the number 1 libertarian blog on the planet

  • Aggressive stimulus spending by governments helped the world avoid a second Great Depression but full economic recovery will take two years or more, Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman said Monday.

  • I like Schiff more than Rand Paul. Schiff has his on mind and is not parroting someone else. I know that it sounds the same but I just don't know how much Rand Paul understands about the market if his father doesn't tell him.

  • You don't need to be an economist to keep the assholes in Washington from ruining the economy.

Being a congressman should really be a simple, part time job. The constitution lays out the rules, just follow it. It's when we think we are smarter and more sophisticated than the founding fathers that we get all messed up and off track.

  • Go get 'em Pete!

  • The "interview" was actually good sign. Its obvious liberals are afraid of Peter Schiff and his message. He has been proven right and no matter how much they lie if he has enough money to run ads the people of connecticut will hear Mr.Schiff's message. The "interview" was a joke but its proof the liberals are scared of a real conservative and hope attack instead of debate.

  • Perhaps conservatives will also be scared of a real conservative.

  • Christian conservatives are idiots and that is what most of the republican conservative movement is made up of today. The true conservatives (calling themselves libertarians) need to remove Christianity and social conservatism from the agenda. It's none of my business where someone puts their penis and if a woman gets an abortion or who goes to church.

We need to take our party back.

  • BS. I'm a Christian and a Libertarian. Get over it.

  • Are you trying to force Christianity on anyone? If you are, you aren't libertarian.

I'm not talking about Christians, I don't care what religion people are, it's when you bring your Christianity into the political arena that gets to me.

I was talking about the social conservatives whining about gay marriage and prayer in school and how we are loosing our Christian heritage, evolution blah blah blah. They hurt the cause, not help it. We need to keep religion out of politics.

  • Is it ok for the majority of Muslims not to tolerate homosexuality?

  • for the record, no.

We are talking about American politics, not the right or wrongness of the issue. Social conservatives are constantly bringing religion into politics. They want prayer in school, they want evolution out of the science curriculum... Many people are with fiscal conservatism, but don't want the "fundamental Christianity" moral majority bullshit.

  • we love ya schiff

  • The fact that some Obamatrons and cynical folks are commenting on these videos means Peter is doing something right. His blogs used to only get supporters posting comments.

    Go Peter!!!

  • Peter runs a tiny brokerage and could've shilled internet stocks or real estate to make the quick buck while they're were "cool" to invest in.

You are too cynical and used to the real moneychangers, like the Obama/Bush team.

  • are you 100% certain he didn't? as far as O'Donnell, I'm not sure if he is truly a journalist or more a commentator, but his interview skills needs improvement. Its ok to debate, but you have to give people the opportunity to answer the question, whether you agree with their position or not....

  • Peter, thanks for these videos.

Are you going to be doing more speeches?I hope you get a chance to give a detailed speech like the one at the Mortgage Bankers Association meeting to explain all this mess.

Congratulations on your success, I hope you can make a change in the system.

  • What is this guys stance on abortion. Does anyone know if he a left wing on social issues?

  • He's not a RINO bible thumper like Graham or a pro-life nutjob like Sotomayor. He's Jewish and either secular or doesn't incorporate his religion into politics. It's safe to say he's left of center on social issues.

  • I think he's pretty agnostic in general, Libertarian specifically. No, he's not necessarily Pro-Life, but he's anti-Roe v Wade. He would let the state legislatures decide what abortion law would be. He would probably be in favor of decriminalizing all drugs, but certainly MJ. As a Christian, as much as drug-use is absolutely screwing people up (I'm a foster parent), I STILL think the govt has made a WORSE mess by criminalizing everything.

  • The system is only as good as the people in the system particularly those who head it. One major problem is that candidates lie through their teeth during the campaign thus citizens believe they are voting in a publicly responsible moral individual if not an entirely honest one in his/her private life. Then the person takes office and their true nature of greed, go along to get along, elitist and immoral narcissism surfaces. The system needs little revamping but the quality of people in does.

  • Peter was great on the Ed Show, I was smiling through the whole thing because it was just so hysterical. No wonder MSM is collapsing, they don't interview anymore, they just yell at their guests. Not even the Jerry Springer viewers would watch that circus.

  • Yeah, as bad as O'Donnell was, Schiff actually held his own and didn't let the jerk get away with it like all too many victims of this jerk do. So I think the effect in this case was to expose O'Donnell to viewers as the complete tool that he is.

  • It worked, O'Donnell is a complete tool. Love Peter Schiff, truth is a powerful weapon, you don't have to be snide or arrogant, you just have to be right, truth always has a particular feel to it.

  • was this an example of why Lawrence O'Donnell was expelled as a member of the McLaughlin Group?

  • Thanks Peter. Good luck....we're pulling for you.

  • you're talking about obama supporters, right?

  • why give money to any lawyer politician? why did people even vote for obama? your logic is absurd. you're basically saying that all individuals involved on wallstreet are corrupt and that isn't true at all. there are hard working and honest individuals on wallstreet.

  • he can hack it in the private world so he decides to run for office.

  • Man you are so right! Obama is such a useless tool.

Schiff on the other hand has been very successful running his own company, made a lot of money for himself, and helped his clients make a lot of money, and now he want to serve as a citizen in the Senate for a short time and then get out. I hope he makes it and then gets drafted for President.

  • the system is made up of people.

remove the corrupt individuals from office and put honest individuals in their place.

  • People like P. Schiff are a start, but they can't accomplish anything themselves. Ron Paul has been there for decades and has accomplished little or nothing. The system is corrupt, but in a perverse way. The job of congress has turned from passing constitutional laws to laws than benefit their constituents which ends up with things like Corn Ethanol subsidies. Can you believe IOWA is importing corn from other states? I think we need to start over.

  • No one thinks he can single handedly dismantle the federal government. His campaign will help get the message out and if he wins it will send a message. IMHO the entertainment value of his campaign will be worth a hefty donation(i dontated $500) in and of itself.

  • i like your perspective on politics.

i just graduated from college and run a small business in philadelphia.

i've been getting involved in political meet up groups and the like.

i'm hoping to one day run for senate as well.

i absolutely agree with you that schiff and ron paul realistically isn't enough to rid the system of corruption.

if we need to start over, how would you go about doing it?

  • Are there any good conservative groups in the northeast?

We need to send the congress back home and vote in people who will obey the constitution. Powers for the federal government are enumerated in the constitution. Regulation of interstate commerce is not a catch-all, nor is the promotion of the general welfare. We need to follow the constitution. Look at the fed: It's an illegal organization the congress was not permitted to create - a HUGE source of trouble.

  • If by conservative you mean smaller government then I would recommend the free state project.

  • It's only fucked if we give up :P We're not doing enough and that's why it's fucked. It's our fault.

  • Don't call the opponent a front runner and don't call him by name. Just say "one of my weasel opponents."

  • Senator Schiff and Senator Paul, now that's real hope for America!

  • Just gave $25 for the moneybomb. This was a great idea, but we need to publicize these things more. I just heard about it from the above video. Also, how doing some general moneybombs for the Ron Paul Republican candidates running across the country at the local, state, and federal levels? You could funnel the money through the Campaign for Liberty organization, or we could start our own org. specifically for this purpose.

  • Looking forward to the media coverage on the money raised by the Schiff exploratory. Lots of hard work to get done leading up to the potential candidacy...and definitely after.

  • peter, just contributed to the committee. good luck forcing chris dodd to get a real job!

i have a question, been trying to call in to wall street unspun with no luck:

where do you see the new zealand economy in the near-term and long-term and what indicators are you focused on when making that assessment? any particular resources you can point me to?

  • I would like to know that myself, ive been watching the NZ market

  • christo930 - most goods/services provided nowadays aren't physical things. Physical things should be made overseas where the cost is cheaper, so labor is freed up here in the United States for skilled labor, technologically advanced endeavors, etc.

This is generally called comparative advantage.

  • P raises a great point about government jobs. What would the unemployment rate be if they were included? Food for thought..

  • They won't be included because those IN government think that government is a productive section of the economy. It's not only that, ADP's numbers are simply not reflective of the total marketplace.

  • test

  • The CNBC host is a CIA/Government propagandist shill employed to push the Government agenad and policies.

  • I have a question I hope someone can answer. How can an American compete with a Chinese worker if they are both working at modern factories? The only advantage for the American is the money saved shipping it across the pacific. The cost of living is much higher in the US, and he has to be paid more. In things like steel where most of the cost is energy, Americans can compete, but labor intensive jobs really can't compete with others able to live on $5/wk. So what can we export competitively?

  • Competition among different employers for employeesdrives the wages up, and competition for jobs among potential employees drives wages down.

The maximum cap on wages is set by the marginal increase in profits from adding another employee.

If chinese employees were as productive as american employees, wages differences would eventually be neutralized.

  • If demand for these goods increases(e.g. due to chinese demand) this suggest that chinese wages will tend to rise to meet american wages rather than american wages falling to meet the chinese.

If american wages fall too much this is a strong signal that you need to do something else.

E.g. rather than competing with chinese $20 DVD burners, make blu-ray players or make the machines that make the DVD burners, or make ultra-fast, noiseless DVD burners with customized form factors or something.

  • "If american wages fall too much this is a strong signal that you need to do something else."

It is rather a signal that wages were already too high, not that "something else has to be done."

  • If China would let their currency rise, we could compete with them. That is what happened with the Japanese.

  • But that is just it, a Chinese worker can live off of less money because he lives in a poorer area where money goes further. If someone offered an American $2.00 an hour, he couldn't even get to work for that much money, whereas a Chinaman could live off of that wage in China.

  • Only if the value of their wage were the same. They're not.

  • there doesn't seem to have been enough exposure for the money bomb, why didn't schiff go on the alex jones show and some other shows ? this is where ron paul credits most of his early success in raising money, from AJ listeners, sure he may have some crazy ideas, but still he has a big audience and they're all committed to the cause.

  • Peter schiff is a class act.

  • Im still enraged after watching the ed show interview. I would be jumping over that red table. Good use of restraint Peter.

  • Peter is the MAN!!!

  • End The Fed!!!!!!

  • My moneybomb exploded in my Shiffathong. It gave me a case of the Peter Schiffilis.

  • Yeah it was one of the worst interview's I've ever seen.

  • Shit, I'd give money ,but I'm a poor teenager with no job...

  • Do what you can to make your own money.

Don't fall into the system merely because some assholes underestimate you and feel you must be put into their idea of an arbitrary order for learning.

  • Can a Canadian contribute?

  • yes

  • You did a great job on the ED show.

  • instead of laughing to yourself, you should have actually let out a loud laugh. That interview was ridiculous

  • Good luck Mr. Schiff. America needs ethical and intelligent economists in Congress. DOWN WITH THE OBAMA ZOMBIES!

  • I predict a S.E.C. If Schiff is successful, I predict an investigation of Schiff, just prior to the election

  • The guy from the Ed show gets money from chriss dodd.

  • peter needs to do some presentations in his campaign to explain basic economics. perot style, with charts and animations. people like odonnel still dont know how basic supply and demand works.

  • I think he doesn't understand what the federal and state bureaucracies have done to health insurance and medical care.

  • I hate this rampant straw-man style, from both sides (like you describe for Ed show)

  • Trust me, you don't need to explain the Ed Show interview, it was absolutely hilarious watching it. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna show my parents it was a such a bad interview.

Amazing work as usually. You articulate these things so well.

  • Save our country. The rest of the senate should be like Peter Schiff. GL and I will hope to move toward your state soon.

  • O'Donnell

Peter, this guy looked like an Evil Conan O'Brien from an alternate universe. If he has any sense, he'll realize that the interview became an extremely usable fund raising tool for you.

  • That host made an ass of himself.

  • About O'Donnell:

O'Donnell is widely known as an outspoken television political commentator, and was the Democratic Chief of Staff of the United States Senate Committee on Finance from 1993 through 1995. In 1992, he was Chief of Staff of the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.

  • As I watched this clip, I am thinking: Peter Schiff is a great public speaker. He is capable of delivering his points in a calm, persuasive and non-confrontational manner. I would like to learn that someday. That aside though, TBH I don't like his idea of running for the senate. He can do so much for the people just by helping them make the right investments, and discussing the true state of the economy regularly on TV. He shouldn't throw himself into the cesspool of politics.

  • Go Peter. Wish I could chip in being from Australia.

  • Wouldn't a dip in the unemployment rate simply mean that the people who first received UI 6 months ago have been tossed off the rolls and are now on their own? I trust shadowstats and they do not show a dip like the government numbers.

  • Go Peter Go!

And you carried yourself very well against that O'Donnell guy. What he did was such an obviously partisan smear job that he made himself look like a shill for his corporate masters and you even better for it since you kept your cool and a smile on your face.

    You're the best Peter!

  • Peter, just wanted to congratulate you again for your interview on The Ed Show. That guy was freaking crazy, but you really handled it well. You looked like a senator.

  • eight hundred thousand sounds a lot more than 1 million

  • and 1 million sounds a lot more than 1 million dollar :)

  • The real deal on the Ed show, He ate your lunch. He never allowed you to get your positions across, We know your positions, the herd needs to be convinced to get elected. he continually painted you in corners by asking loaded questions which would be suicide to answer while painted in corners. You need to kick it up several notches in order to play with the big boys. I'm a client, I'm on your side. all the best.

  • Peter, great job of staying on topic on the Ed show with that goofball host. To myself and some moderates who saw it, it was plainly clear he was spending the entire time just trying to get a quote that he could take out of context for the future race against your primary opponent or Dodd so be ready.

Keep it up, we need a common sense mind in the Senate.

  • Wut? There was a moneybomb? Wutwut?

Dude, you didn't tell us! Lol

Next time, please mention it more in your videos, I would have gotten in on that action

  • Remember Rand Paul on the 20th.

  • Damn straight

  • Just so you know, Mr. Schiff, that I think we heard most of the really good stuff you were saying yesterday before you were abruptly cut off. BTW, don't you think that they are just manipulating the Economic data anyway? The best indicator of the aggregate s+d is in the way life is around you, you see higher prices, homes arent selling, wages arent going up, new jobs are not being created, but government spending is up - now what?

  • Peter, please talk about the U6 number, not the phoney number you get from cnbc. U6-birth/death=20% unemployment, please talk about this

  • I saw the ODonnell interview and it's very clear to viewers what was happening. It was actually positive because u didnt stumble or get confused or annoyed so he kept interrupting as you were making clear points. Which just made him look bad as it seemed a pointless way to behave.

  • Thanks again Peter.

Yeah, I saw that show you mentioned - the guy was ridiculous. That wasen't an interview, it was an ambush.

I was wondering how you would react to it on these YouTube vids of yours.

Looks like you really took it all in stride. I thought you would be more pissed at the guy - I probably would have been.

But I guess you are used to ding dong's taking pot shots at you - so you obviously see the big picture then I would have were I you.

    Have a good weekend.

  • O'Donnell's laughable interview scored you $125 from me.

  • put me down for $50 more...

  • Comment removed

  • to read the ed show Schiff VS O'Donnell transcript, google:

'The Ed Show' for Thursday, August 6 - Tucker - TODAYshow

  • I'm not sure if even the fans of whatsisname could even, rightfully, have called it an "interview."

The guy just screamed at a straw man, not letting Peter talk. I'm not sure what he was hoping to accomplish, but, unless his goal was to get MORE people interested in Peter's viewpoint, I'm inclined to think he didn't know what he was doing.

  • run peter run

  • Peter's main flaw seems to be that he allows himself to get shouted down by idiots. Go ahead, be loud and obnoxious! It's really the only way thing they understand.

  • I feel Shiff puts up a solid response, and doesnt get into an obnoxious shouting match. Hes stern, and explains his points very well.

  • I was joking. Sort of. I agree with you about Schiff's response. But when I see the raging jackass who thinks he's won because he was loud and obnoxious, I want to smack him upside the head and be loud and obnoxious back.

  • if odonnel was sincere then you could cut him some slack, but he wasn't, he was trying to get peter to make a damning sound bite so he could sell it to simmons.

  • Go go go Peter!

  • Peter, that was a GREAT interview Ed gave you, in the sense that it shows you the kind of relentless assault of half-truths and spin jobs headed your way, not just from Dems but even from Repubs. So don't blow it off, STUDY it.

And BTW, next time they try to throw this health care thing at you, simply point out its biggest supporters: the insurance industry and the big pharmaceuticals. 'Nuff said.

  • The cash raised so far sounds promising. As the message gets out and more of the old Ron Paul guard clues in to Peter Schiff's campaign, I expect the numbers will get even better.

  • The 'pundits' seem to be gaming us the same way they game the market. Public companies have to manage revenue/earnings forecasts so that when quarterly results are released they aren't punished for earning less than the 'experts' thought, or that losses aren't as bad as forecasted, so they're not punished as badly.

So yes, losing *only* 250K isn't as bad as losing 325K jobs, but we can't let them spin us into thinking things are better than they are. It's all a big game (con).

  • impressive money raising, sounds like a good amount of support out there
