Im saying that since it makes 347 bhp and has a power to weight ratio 13 lbs per hp, has the aero of a brick and a 4-speed auto. Using your logic a 215 horsepower automatic Civic could run 13s in the 1/4 mile, which is BS and not possible. For this to be as fast as a Mustang GT or Infiniti G35 in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times it would need at least 430-450 horses+ to keep up since it weighs so much... the mods you put on it would not add 100 horsepower.

Pickups are for off-roading. They arent fast, they have the aero of a brick and struggle to go past 100-120 mph also because their transmissions are designed more for towing, so why ?? If Im going to get anything with a 6.0 I would do the proper thing and buy a used Vette or a Camaro. Also I am betting BS on you saying it does 0-60 in 5.5 or 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. It weighs 4500 lbs !!! A 3500 lb. 315 bhp Mustang GT does the 1.4 mile in 13.7, a 3700-lb 330 bhp Infiniti G37 does it in 13.8 !!

Ive been around engines practly all my life and im not going to say i know everything but i know the important stuff im a State Patrol in GA our Chargers are tuned with the speed limiters off and i never rev my engine up that high because it will loose torque doing that

who cares what rpm your truck shifts at as long as you get the most horsepower and torque into shifts. Im alittle skeptical that a stock 347 hp 6.0 LS2 motor in a 4000lbs truck can do a 13.8 in the quarter. Im not saying it wont but the odds seem against you

You only loose torque if the cam is mild. A hot cam can carry the power band up higher. My shift points are at 6300 rpms with a stock LS1 cam. And trust me, these motors can take the high rpms. They are LS based GEN III. In other words, a well built motor. With just a hot cam, stronger springs, and a 3200 TC these can put out 440hp+!!!!
