I miss the good old days of Grand National and Ford Mustang shootouts! Hard to believe it's been that long already, wow 10 years. Racin Jason will live on in our memories. Charish everyday and keep on Racin, Jason.
volcom10112: Sorry about that bro. I was there that COLD night the Vanilla Convertable went 7.79 @ 185mph. He was the 1st mustang in the 7's. It was pretty crazy.
Hard to believe it's only ten years ago , it could just as easily be Dyno Don putting injection and a straight axle on his 65 Comet. This was important history, just a few years prior running 12's in a fuelie 5.0L was remarkable. These are two of the guys that accelerated that development to where nowadays those cars would be considered slow and smallblock Mustangs can run right up there with blown Hemi Pro Mods.
My dream is to own a beautiful American mustang one day, I just wish some one come post them on a world wide web site called showoffyourwheels . com, Its the best site for all car lovers,They even do interviews with drag car champions...
I was actually there at lebanon the day he passed away. I was only about 13 at the time. He was staged in front of my brother driving a black mustang coupe. Not the red one as so many people say.
Those were the days... Rip Jason thanks for all your efforts!!
