I enjoy the idea of storing all that info on your Ipad, but in event of an EMP you might be rendered info less if you don't have hardcopies printed out too... just a thought.

I bought that gas siphon after the motor of my car blew up the day after I filled the tank; I didn't want to lose all of that gas when I scrapped the car. Anyway, I wasn't able to get the tube of that siphon into the tank. Something blocked it. Maybe I should have just punctured the tank and put a bucket beneath it. Just something to think about before breaking out that siphon.

The alarm is a good idea. Just FYI, I tried to use one of those siphon pumps once. I wound up with more gas on me than I got out of the gas can. The hose collapsed and the bottom cap came of after a few pumps. Now I use the gravity fed hose with a check valve. Very easy and fast. Check it out, I love these things. They are great for taking old gas out of small engine tanks too. It is called the super siphon.

I have the tek4 flashlight its awesome...home depot has a whole array of the tek4 tools and they all use the same battery pack...they have a dual quick charger as well which is awesome
