Yeah i know they love all that acid jazz funk 60s soul stuff, But naming your own track
Stoned Woman when all it is , is a cover version of Julie Driscoll with Brian Auger & The Trinity ~ Indian Rope Man & Spencer Davis Group - I'm a man ... I love Mother Earth, But it so aint their track
@skawashers One of the problems I had with Acid Jazz, Neo-Soul it's a lot of sampling, very little breaking of new ground. Chicago has an interesting version of "I'm a man" check it out.
"... my baby don't know what to do ..." love that line ... smart tunes from back then ... acid jazz had a clever touch of creating a musical compatability that allowed both, booting the gong & ... dancing ...! good one, hombre ...
@batzi75 hope you're feeling better - that was a great song. it's what an SG sound's like. organ too. - i'm late to this post,i know but you got me goin'. it's a religion shared,i guess. we'll speak of it all of our live's.
Hey, the intro is the same as the song "indian rope man" from Julie Driscoll D:
