Hoost is a much better fighter than sapp. Hoost was clearly not in the right place in his mind for either of these fights. he stands there and tries to slug it out with a giant almost twice his size. Total fail! he could have and should have stick and move and let sapp chase him for 2 rounds then when sapp can no longer breathe or defend himself finish him off. and Hoost does not use nearly enough kicks.

In the US tests are pretty primitive on top of that, so if you use a masking agent, for many drugs you can continue juicing right through the test up to the fight.

This was a very entertaining fight most of all for the fact that Ernest Hooch decided to try to slug it out instead of kicking to victory.. he could've probably easily kept kicking the leg until Bob couldn't stand anymore, instead he put on a good show exchanging punches with him for the final minutes to try and knock him out.. it could've gone either way, Sapp had nothing left in the tank and pretty much got a lucky punch, I think he broke his hand & some ribs during this fight too.

I've only recently become interested in K-1, so I probobally don't know to much. But after watching this fight I'm kinda dissapointed that Bob won. Yeah you have to start watching classic fights like Andy Hug, Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts, JLB, Ray Sefo, Sam Greco, Mike Bernardo and etc. in the late 90s....great stuff..all I can say...Sapp was just a 1 year Japan hype and maybe thats why I kinda stopped watching K-1 when I started seeing Sapp, Akebono, Choi and all those misfits...but it looks like K-1 has comeback and picked it up now in 09 and up..but in reality K-1 has some great fighters then and now :)
