This is one of the varients of this certain assault rifle, They are all SA80's, theres the L85, L86 LSW which is a light machine gun, L97 which is a sniper rifle and the L98A2 which is the Sea cadet, Army Cadet and Air Cadet one, but then theres the drill purpose and parade purpose aswell, for doing drill, i know coss i was in the sea cadets is suppose R85 is just the company not copying the real one:L and that SUSAT sight is epic, try not to smash it though, there radioactive:L

The weapon in the video I'm not quite sure about, it says R85 in the description, so I'm guessing that :L

1) there is no regiment called the 'royal anglian guards'. There is the 'royal anglians' and 5 guards regiments (Scots, irish, welsh, Coldstream, grenadier)

some of these comments are stupid. whoever said the susat is tacky is a wanker. is an amazing sight. the L85is heavier than the m16 and m4 but is much better balanced. i find m16s very barrel heavy whereas i can support an l85 with just my right arm and still hit targets

How did you attach a SUSAT scope to the R85A1. I thought you could'nt attach a SUSAT to either the Army or the G&G.

Yes, it does have a rail. The problem is that the SUSAT scope cannot fit on the R85, due to the fact that the rail is the wrong width. I was wondering how he was able to attach the SUSAT without having to drastically modifying the rail.

I emailed G&G in Hong Kong and they sent me a paypal invoice, i paid it and 7 days later it arrived.

I had to make the hole in the handle slightly bigger and then just screwed it on.

no its called a bullpop. the barrel is longer bu the overall size of the weapon is small.

so v.good for urban combat and open space firing.

thats why the usa has m16 and m4. the m4 for urban combat, and m16 is to long. the barrel is almost the same length as the sa A2 but their butt stock limits motion in urban combat.

v.good gun this, also its proven to be THE most accurate assault rifle in the world.

Go do a few section attacks carrying ECM then come back to me on that one, you'll want to shave every available bit of weight off what you have to carry. I guess you don't do much of that on your ATC camping trips though.

it's called a SUSAT scope, you can buy it from 'wolf armouries'

and you mount it just like you would on any gun with an RIS rail.
