Not all music from one country is one way, and not all music from another country is a different way. Vocaloid, I find, is very beautiful, just like Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles. You can't group all music together by country of origin.

Maybe if you stopped listening to your Vocaloids for once and actually search through English songs, you'll find way more than enough songs sung with emotion & meaning. @mapletabest The reason why we do that is because the japanese lyrics are strong, beautiful, most of them have meaning. I like american songs as well, but we're getting lost in how we're going to make our music sparkle, and like Eminem, who was struggling with drugs. I like english music too, but japanese music usually either calms us, or makes us smile. Which is why we stood up for our music choice, but I agree with you, all music has it's own sparkle.

I just really like listening to Nico Nico as well, because those are fan-made, with pure voices.
