LOL Sigur Rós are my favourite band, but I enjoy this band too, does it REALLY matter if one band slags off the other? sure it's a little petty but none of US know Sigur Rós or what they're actually like, at the end of the day they make awesome music, both bands do. That's all that matters right?

I never saw Sigur Ros live, but it would be impossible for them to top Silver Mount Zion in that department.

And I don't think Efrim meant to be malicious or anything, he's very anecdotal and comedic during their shows.

I saw sigur ròs a couple of times and i just love their music. Impossible to compare to ASMZ, it`like comparing light with darkness. Anyway, those two should build a f*cking yin and yan instead of beefing - this stuff is just beneath them. Or should be. Sounds a bit envious, if you ask me.

I saw Sigur Ros play recently and they were a bunch of PRIMA DONNAS.

But they still put on a good show..... I like ASMZ more than sigur ros cause the dudes voice in Sigur Ros irritates me, whereas Efrim's voice actually grows on me, and plus they have the whole choir thing going on which is sheer brilliance.

I love both ASMZ and Sigur Ros but this is disheartening. I think it reveals more about Effrims character than it does the guys in Sigur Ros. For the record Sigur Ros even said in an interview, they don't try to make intelligent music.... they play what feels natural to them. But when it comes down to it, he's entitled to his opinion.

I'm a huge fan - I was surprized to hear him rip on them like that - Sigur Ros actually seemed very humble to me and put on lots of free shows - I'm going to a free concert of theirs with Bjork in Iceland in a few weeks - I detect a little jealousy mixed in there so no big foul
