I've still got 'Sam's car' which I got for my birthday in 1969....it's got no tyres left but I've always kept it! Why did Dinky make the UFO Intercepter green?

I had a SHADO Transporter that was painted green. I didn't like it because it wasn't as it was in the tv series UFO.

The Shado 2 vehicle was done in blue by Dinky as well as green, but it's a rare version to get hold of.

Excellent video! I just got a couple of Eagles on ebay! They both come with spare parts- I MIGHT TRY AND fix em up? PETER jACKSON IS VERY MUCH INTO GERRY ANDERSON STUFF! THE EAGLE IS MY FAVOURITE I STILL RUE? THE DAY MY MUM MADE MY GIVE THEM AWAY! I HAVE THE GOLD PLATED EAGLE-SIGNED BY GERRY ANDERSON.

Really nice work - I fancy doing some of this myself as I often see these things at car boot sales. The mobile and the cars do look very good with the proper colour paint applied.

Nice work on all of these! You've made yourself a top collection of 'color accurate' Dinky vehicles. Any one of them could easily be mistaken for factory finish originals. Love 'em all , especially the UFO related stuff. Straker's car is the balls! Fantastic stuff all around.
