Hey, I wanted to know about the overall openness of the town to speak about the events of July 1947. I've read many accounts and it seems that anyone from the Fire Department to the morgue were dealing with whatever happened. It seems more or less established that witnesses describe four aliens total, three dead, two highly burnt, one dead though in decent shape and one that was partially living which they later performed tests on... reportedly in Ohio.
@PObserver The town is basically full of small time entrepreneurs who have made a small local tourist industry from the crash story. Most everyone who was a first hand witness has died. The museum is run by a British couple who seem genuinely interested in the crash and have done an excellent job documenting the witness testimonies. It is a fun place to go for an overnight stop through and the museum is interesting. The crash site is a half hour out of town. I really enjoyed the experience.
Did they feature any drawings from witnesses? I'm reading The Day After Roswell (which claims we reverse engineered the craft's remnants into lasers, the integrated circuit and fiber optics) and Witness to Roswell (has a lot of third party witnesses that describe the aliens, the craft and all other things associated). Among them were a lot of direct drawings of what they encountered.
@PObserver Yes, but mainly the ones that are commonly shown, such as what the aliens looked like, and what the craft looked like. I don't recall drawings of the actual technology but another thing I liked was that they also have a library and research center attached to the museum. A real enthusiast could literally spend years there.
Nothing more than is widely published. I did take quite a few pictures. The museum had some very compelling documents, and unlike TV shows, you can actually read the entire testimonial letters of the witnesses. Feel free to send me an email through the messenging system if you want to correspond further about this. The most interesting development was the enlargement of the letter in the officer's hand which refers to a disk and victims.
LOL look at the torso of the alien, PLASTIC !
