  • Remember when Disney wasn't part of the network? When I was little I always got so excited whenever we got it for free for a week. Now it sucks so much I just want it to go away!

  • I totally remember the Haircut song. My mom used to sing this song whenever I or my brother needed a haircut.

  • @IWasAPepper That song is by Craig Taubman!

  • no it isnt its just that those are last i-dont-think-of-you's i was just kidding

  • 7 People have no childhood!

  • THESE ARE THE LAST THREE MICROWAVE THIS SUGGESTONS

  • What was that one african style show?

  • 1992 ha wow i was in my mommys tummy

  • OMG Silver Chair on Disney Channel? Wow, 90s really were the best time to have disney channel it kinda stinks now.

  • oh. my. god. memories. THE HAIRCUT SONG!!!

  • oh. my. god. memories.

cartoon but NOO now is all about singing dancing.WHY Disney change it p.s am 12 when i was little i used to see winne the pooh and classic stuff now is getting shity

  • THANK U WHO EVER UPLOADED THIS!!! iv been look for this song ever since disney show whent down the toilet

  • man do i miss this generation of the disney channel disney today stinks i miss the 80's and 90's im 26 and boy do i miss my childhood

  • THEY HAD THE CARE BARES?!?!?

  • brings tears to ma eyes. almost 30 now and I still remember this song!

  • Oh my god I used to dance to that Haircut song....I don't think I realized that it looked and sounded like that. HAHA.

  • This song has been stuck in my head for years... and i finally remembered to look it up on the computer. I hope i never hear it again lol

  • I just realized something, Disney Channel is marketed to pre-teen/teen girls, Disney XD is marketed torwards pre-teen/teen boys, and the upcoming Disney Junior channel is going to market kids 2-8. I'm telling you, at this rate, when Disney becomes even more desperate for a wider audience, their next step will be to bring Disney Cinemagic to the US for the adults! I'm an optimist, but I know something like that wouldn't happen for at least a few years.

  • this makes me want to cry because of how bad disney is today!

  • i was lookin for that haircut music break thing forever! thanks!

  • I'd give anything to just travel back to enjoy this era of television.

  • I STILL SING THIS SONG AROUND THE HOUSE! I AM ALMOST 30 AND I REMEMBER THIS SONG LIKE YESTERDAY!

  • What was the next part?

  • The voice in the Care Bears commercial, played a pig...Maybe Babe or Gordy? Lol.

  • @Addicted890189 Yeah, she played Babe and Chuckie from Rugrats lol

  • wen i was 4 this was still 2 old! i was born in 2000 so i didnt see this :(

  • my childhood!!

  • And now I'm almost thirty years old. Damn.

  • DUDE I REMEMBER THAT HAIR CUT SONG ! WOW BRINGS BACK SOME 90'S MEMORIES !

  • God, how I hated that haircut song.....they tried to make haircuts look unfrightening, but man, the haircuts my parents put me throught were BRUTAL! I hated the way it looked after it was done....But now my hair is as long as my own mom's and I am happy!^_^

  • ya! no more boys with beiber hair! cut your hair kids! ugly emo hair sucks too. and guys you need to stop wearing eye make up, unless you have a crush on billy from green day. the shag hair looks so old fashioned.... get a hot sexy military cut! AMEN!

  • classic! my how times have changed. glad that I gew up in the 90's.

  • HAHA even donald duck hated the care bears

  • not to get u guys so pissed but Phineas and Ferb should've been in old Disney and still continueing............... no offense if u hate it

  • @Pokemonsonic100 Phineas and Ferb blows. Nothing but a couple of peerless boys making something that is impossible to make in their backyard while their sister tries to unsuccessfully rat them out. Meanwhile, their pet platypus always defeats a scientist with a incomprehensibly long name and ends the names of his inventions with -inator.

This happens in EVERY episode. The only thing that is different is the plot but the structure is very repetitive.

  • @NGMan62 OMG ikr! I hate phineas and ferb its so repetitive thats what I hate about it and their voices are so annoying!! thats what makes me really hate it, Im getting a lil dissappointed that disney is bringing a lil P&F in their parks and at disney store opening in times square w/ classic characters -__-

  • I'm a respectabible marshdibible inside joke

  • if only things on disney channel now weren't all fake and soapy

  • I miss the animators, script writers and stuff who abused drugs to make their shit.. things were better back then, lol

  • omg I miss the 90's

  • oh....my....it's like i was watching this the exact time you recorded this....and i'm sure that's very accurate...

I wish Disney would start a Classic Disney Channel...in fact, I talked to a guy that said he was in a managing position there in Buena Vista...and I mentioned it to him, he wasn't very excited with me suggesting it....That's all I'd watch if they would!

  • Back when Disney was a premium channel. You got one free weekend a month. I loved it.

  • such a simpler time *sigh*

  • Those goodtimes died by 2006 and 2007 disney died. Miley cyrus is a Faggot

  • Hey, remember when disney channel actually showed the real good stuff? Whatever happened to those good times? (sigh)

  • @DisneyFTW1 Drugs became even more illegal, that's what happened, lol...

  • Disney becoming suck by 2006

  • When I used to watch this when I was little, I used to think " it's not fair that they're making him get a haircut; I mean, it's not THAT long." Nowadays, I watch this and think "oh, for gosh sakes, it's a haircut, not a lobatomy, grow-up!"

  • 4:00 Muee-Muee-Muee?

What the heck was that about? I got his song on The Disney 'For Our Children Tape', but they had a girl name Amy on it..

  • @SimpleJars

It was just a silly spanish interlude. "Mui mui mui..."

Disney should do a classics release of all the old songs that appeared on their channel. This and Disney Mambo #5 would be awesome to own.

  • DANG, I completely forgot about that haircut music video!!! I miss the old Disney Channel :(

  • holy shit, wow old school narnia promos

  • I bet I would of liked or loved this if I was born in the 80's. I even like some 80's music like metal and rock back then. I used to watch old cartoons but in MY OPINION, SOME of the new shows are better and worth watching. I absolutely hate with all my soul the Jonas Brothers and their shows. I can occasionally watch Good Luck Charlie. I enjoy watching "Wizards Of Waverly Place" and both of the Suite Life shows. But I still watch other shows and channels like Discovery Channel, Food Network, T

  • Funny how they use the power of music video to tell kids to cut their hair. lol

  • back when disney was worth watching.

  • Disney channel back then, WOW. this was the onley channel that stayed on our tv. There was always somthing great on.

  • This is the Disney i'd rather watch any day. Disney today... is not as awesome as it use to be.

  • thanks so much for this

  • the haircut song!! damn I totally forgot alllll about this! Thanks sooo much for posting :0)

  • I haven't seen this video since I was 7 or 8.. How cool to watch it after nearly 20 years..!

  • This was my childhood!!! From what I can remember, it seems like whomever was in charge of programing they actually tried to make it appealing to all age groups. Now it seems like they only focus on tweens. What 12 year old is up at 2 a.m. to watch Wizards of Waverly Place??

  • I remember these Disney Channel commerical back in '90's

  • Disney Channel use to be awesome. I miss the 90s.

  • I feel bad for the kids now they have to grow up with kids who can't sing like miley cyrus the jonas brothers and HMS!!

  • Thats how Disney did music back in the day. I remember loving that song, and i still have all of Craig N' Companys CD's

  • WOW!!! They had a movie ot The chronicals of narnia back then? That is really interestin. The new one is better though. A biblical fantasy. CS lewis did an amazing job

  • @MrDragontamer2009 the Narnia films that were shown were the ones made in the early 80's by BBC Studios.

  • WOW! claymation

  • although I was'nt born anywhere around

'92 I remember that Chucky's voice from Rugrats!! in the beggining of the video

  • @Moviestar20 Yes, that's Christine Cavanaugh. She did the announcing for the kids morning shows that were coming up next when they had the Donald Duck with the claymation. On a side note, she guest starred in a Nickelodeon show called Salute Your Shorts that was re-run through the 90s as Mona--her duty was to see that the camp was operating properly. It was only a few episodes and she was sort of a love interest of their camp counselor, who I believe the kids referred to as "Ug Lee"

  • the other day i was thinking that i needed a haircut...and immediately that song popped in my head. never knew who sang it. oh and i remember the "what a catastrophe" bumper. thanx for the memories!

  • I guess people were not supposed to know about Donald duck? it shows his head in there though

  • in the 90s i was deff a nick kid but disney had a few good stuff

  • OMG!

I racked my brain for YEARS trying to find out who sang that haircut song...it was stuck in my head for a week but couldn't find the lyrics or who sang it. Honestly, I thought it was Joey Lawrence singing it. I was like 8 at the time lol. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR POSTING!

  • How adorable is this!!

  • Ive havent seen this since i was a kid. Fuckin awesome hahaha

  • SO much better than the crap that's on Disney now

  • I disagree.

  • Who ever disagrees is either 10 years old or is actually on one of the shows haha

  • Thank you. Brings back so many memories!

  • i need help..from any of you....disney did a dub video for a "cowboy needs his horse" , they playeda different song over it as a music break....can anybody find out what that song was......it had something to do with a cowboy

  • hahaha I MISS THE OLD DISNEY CHANNEL DAYS SOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't.

  • Gosh. If we could all get our child hood back for even one day just to relive some of the happy moments of life .

  • Yes that would be amazing

  • i was born 1910

    i so rmember these commercials

and OMG thank you for posting it with the "haircut" song..ive had that song stuck in my head so many times..and ive searched the internet for it..

    ahhh thank you :P

    brings back memories haha

  • ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm you were born in 1910 :/?!!!!!!!!!!?????????????!!!!!!

  • oh dear im special

i was commenting from my ipod

    damn buttons :(

    i meant 1990

    uhg

  • lol ok

  • I was born in 93 but these comercials are adorable. The thing I love about 90's Disney is that the characters from the shows are either Walt Disney's creations or inspired by his creations. Now its just a bunch Hannah Montana junk that doesn't have any real "magic" if you know what i mean?

  • this is so 90s.

  • OMFGZORz the memories

  • Listening to this song makes me feel OLD, yet I was only 5 or so at the time.

  • and now more then ever i want to boycott disney until they make it like this again, WHOSE WITH ME??

  • Im with you

  • Yeah, I believe this is from 1992. Still Not Quite Human advertised as coming out this summer, came out on May 31, 1992.

  • the tween market is the one that wags the dog right now. hence the glut of "Hannah Montana" type shows.

OMG! i totally loved, loved, loved "Adventures in Wonderland!" does anyone know who played the little girl?

  • Thank you! I had that commercial stuck in my head all day and I really needed to hear it in person.

  • I loove this. I wish that the Disney channel today would use classic characters for their bumpers and commercial breaks. I really could care less about some 12 year old "actor" with a magic wand: /

  • @kmayy137: Yeah, Mick and Pooh are the only ciassic ones they use.

  • oh yes. this is when Disney was good. I miss those days. I wish Disney would go back to making comforting shows and movies because the stuff they play now is horrible.

  • I know. A lot of old channels have mostly dull programming nowadays.

  • @keohal85 I agree but it is probably because we are old dude.

  • i remember this shit

  • I remember the Haircut song. I wish other music break songs would get put up

  • I dont' remeber this. but I saw it b4.

  • Whats that movie called at 5:09? it looks familiar

  • I remember "Haircut" omg, what memories

  • OMG!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!! I've been looking for "Haircut" forever! everytime I get my hair done, I think about that song. It was so catchy. ::HUG::

  • yeah it's true this is when disney had creative ideaa and great shows!! NOOOOW IT STINKS!!

  • Holy Crap! I've been seaching for the Haircut music video for years. I loved that song then and I still love it now. This memory is making me misty eyed. Thanks so much!

  • It was awesome in these days. Uninterrupted programming. It was great.

  • This was when the Disney Channel was actually good.

  • what year did the Disney Channel come out? I've always heard that cable tv came out in around 1979, is that true?

  • yes that's true but keep in mind beta testing and preparations for it came out long before it

  • No, The Disney Channel was launched in 1972.

  • Wrong. It was launched in 1983. In the 70's, cable did exist but it was not a household name yet..only a few had cable and my parents hadnt even heard of it until the 80's. Disney channel was the reason they even bought cable for me back in the 80's...Disney channel was better in the 1980's and from 1990-1994

  • I usually dont care about stuff like this but, Am I the only one that noticed the rainbow of races shown in the haircut song. Nowadays, disney just sucks, with all of their satanic child star whores.

  • *sigh* back in the day

  • Um. What was that hand gesture he made at 2:34???

  • The first promo after the bumper was for "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair". Let's hope Disney Channel in the U.S. airs the 2005 film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" soon, right, Pattybug?

  • haha WOW i remember this!!

  • I remember watching this when I was younger. Haha

  • I know that girl at 4:26.

  • Old Siney Channel seems betetr than 2day's show.

  • I was Born in 1992.

  • wow, the memories "almost" forgotten lol

  • i so remember wow!

  • I vaguely remember that Disney bunker. Man things were so much better back in those days.

  • I always have remembered the Music Break where the kids were singing Locomotion and the conductor was really upset about it, haha. I used to have it on VHS but it broke a while back.

  • no, not from 1992. 1994 or 1996.

  • This is certainly not from 1996 and most likely not even 1994. It's from from around 91-93.

  • WOW the old school Narnia movie! "Silver Chair" great stuff...OMG I been singing this song since I was like 8... Holy HairCut!

  • Hey lol when i heard this song on here I went WOW! that's the song. What about the others they had back then. Like "She Drives me Crazy" and "Locomotion" Does any one remember those?

  • I saw this on Disney Channel back in the early 1990's (1990-1993) and remember all of this fondly...what a treat to see it on Youtube...and for the record, Disney Channel was WAY BETTER then than it is now...

  • does anybody remember when you had to pay for the disney channel. I had to beg my mom to buy it

  • In Norway we have to pay for it!

  • Yes, I do remember and we never subscribed to it because we couldn't even afford cable at the time but remember how they'll always have the network up for free trial days? Probably like once a month or every 2 months they'll have like a week for free.

  • i hate the 80's and 90's except the tv shows from then today all we got is that stupid shit i was not alive then but my sister and she has vids of like a thousand shows

  • How can you hate the 80's and 90's? Those days were great and probably the best time to live your childhood cause of all the different toys, games, thousands of different video games and awesome game systems like the snes.

  • wow... this is almost bringing tears to my eyes. i miss those days so much. the simplicity, the ignorance, the innocence, the bliss, not a care in the world. a much simpler time. i wish they'd reform the current disney channel and remodel it on how it was back in the late 80s and early 90s, it was just a much better time. i'm 19 years old and i would STILL watch it because of all of those great memories... and the great shows.

  • Wow I'm 19 too and I totally agree however they'll never remodel the channel but I agree times were simpler and life was worry free. I vaguely remember those Disney bumpers but I do remember a lot from when I was really young. I'd still watch it too if the channel went back to the way it was years ago. Good times.

  • Wow...those were the days. I thought I made the haircut song up. Anyone remember the dinosaur one?

  • OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THIS!! does anybody remember that weird music clip where the moon comes down from the sky?

  • The day the moon dissappeared. I was looking for it too. That's how I found this.

  • oh snap i cant believe you have this

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHH CRAIG N COMPANY!!!!

  • The Disney from the early 1990's - late 1997. In the year 2000, The Disney Channel went down hill. I don't like The Disney Channel now, they got too many kids shows. I remember old The Disney Channel used to be for everybody, not just for kids. I also miss Kids Incorporated, The New Mickey Mouse Club and Vault Disney. If anybody wants the old Disney Channel back on, please sign the old Disney Channel Petition on yahoo. Thank You

  • lol I still get the haircut song stuck in my head even today, so weird

  • i thought i was the only one

  • wow, the shows have changed a lot since then

  • i missed all these tv shows in the 90s because we didnt have disney so i watched nick

  • OH MY GOSH! this made my day, i have been searching everywhere for this. i miss being a kid and watching the disney channel in the mornings before school. music break then adventures in wonderland and gummybears. back when tv for kids wasn't so dummed down.

    anyway, thanks i love it!!!

  • Ahh.. the year I was born!!! We didn't even have disney channel until about 1995 or 96.

  • The haircut song!!! Thank God I'm not alone on this one. I actually found out that guy that sings the song actually now performs like jewish songs...and his hair is white!

  • oh my gosh....

I have been LOOKING for the haircut song for freaking years!!!!!!! Honestly, you almost brought me to tears, as CHEESY AS THAT SOUNDS! Thank you SO much for this!

  • omggg I remember that haircut song!!! I thought I was the only one on earth that remembered it. Haha! Thank u so much for not making me feel so crazy!!

  • totally! I so had a crush on this guy back then too

  • Do you have any promos from the day I was born? (Febuary 5, 1991)

  • Wow, thanks for posting this. I probably saw this a couple of hundred times when I was a kid and remember having a crush on the brunette member of the dancing scissors when I was little.

  • lol the haircut song was on when i was 5

  • This used to horrify me to the point of tears when I was like 7 or 8. It scared me SO MUCH.

  • I remember laughing at this video with my sister when we were little. We laughed so hard when the kid started to cry. I also remember another song about stripes and polkadots. Anyone remember that one?

  • Hey Pattybug, thanks for uploading these. I remembered the ''Haircut'' song by Graig N company and it's my favorite song and when I looked at the title song and the CD label called Rock N Together, I looked for the CD on google and I found the CD and I bought online and I called the number and my CD is coming soon! Yay! So, Thank you for uploading the Haircut song. My best favorite song ever. Reply me back. Thanks for the childhood memories! From dcencia. :) :) :)
