  • @Noobz1801988 I used to use this at college... and yeah its annoying... I have had the pointer stick to it many times

  • NEVER set down yer trowel!

  • fuckin awsome i want one but i cant find it

  • @mustafazorlu Search for 'Trade Counter Direct trowelmate' in google and you'll find it!

  • i have my hammer at that place already...

  • like the intention of it, but what about your mobile in your right pocket, and with the item being magnetic, ???

  • great product, apprentice`s and tradesmen

  • I've been thinking about what I'm gonna do when I finish school but I'm not sure. For some reason bricklaying or some kind of trade appeals to me. Can anyone tell me what it's like?

  • a boss walked up to a brickie and says 'THATS THE ROUGHEST BRICKWORK IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, YOUR FIRED'' the brickie the says ''IVE SEEN ROUGHER'' the boss replies ''IF YOU CAN SHOW ME ROUGHER WORK THAN THAT YOU CAN KEEP YOUR JOB'' the brickie replies ''OK THEN, FOLLOW ME OVER HERE....THERE YOU GO, LOOK AT THAT'' the boss the yells out ''FKN HELL, WHO THE BLOODY HELL DONE THAT?'' the brickie then says '' I DID HAHAHAHAHA'' joke from aussie brickie

  • Good idea!

  • This is genius! Dont kno how many hours I used to waist a week looking for tools.

  • Le sugiero que vean el video del adhesivo Poliestrong del reciclado de los plasticos para el pegado de bloques , con solo dos lineas aplicado con una pistola y un suministro a distancia con aire a precion , un kg pega 100 bloques proyecto REPOR

  • When I learned years ago ,I was taught to not ever lay my trowel down ,but to pick the block up while holding it..takes a little practice ,but talk about getting more block laid !

  • freak'n awesome.love it...

  • Great Lil Product, Recived mine on Saturday.... Only took 3 Days to arrive Used it today in the Brick workshop today @ College :D

    Highly Recomend :D

  • Just Orderd Mine :D

  • hold trowel flat at back of block your fingers hold the trowel and block same time, piece work, try it aufwiedersehen pet.

  • hell i saw the price 53 american dollars plus shipping and handling really to me is not worth more than 30 dollars.

  • @vic75216

Hey Bro, maybe I can help out you can get it cheaper on the offical Product website compared to TDC... goto, trowelmate(Dot)com

  • they should have used a professional mason, but its still a good idea i was thinking something like this to invent but a little different.

  • I had that happen to me. I broke the dirty fucker's nose and he didn't do it again.

  • Pile of shit . what a wank idea .If you learnt your trade you would know where to put your trowel . why didnt you make something that would help people like a velcro patch for people with big ears who cant keep a pencil behind it .

  • that is some good acting, haha, kinda funny, I would just put my trowel on the block I just laid myself... but thats just me!

  • @owenmxz600 I did knock mine off a bunch of times,

I even tripped over it once, then the dam cement truck driver

tripped on one, stumbled on the shovel, then the rake, then nearly

rammed his head in the wall! in a huge cold mudhole.

  • @owenmxz600 ha ha thats what i do

  • @owenmxz600 we must be intelligent though...i thought that too

  • Its just like having a gun in a holster, BUT YOUR NOT A "COWBOY"

  • That looks good, but is it safe to have magnets so close to one's BALLS???

  • Comment removed

  • at first i thought this was a retarded invention until ..... i had to lay split face block. heavy block you need to lay with two hands. so i wasted so much time putting my trowel on the pan ....seconds add up. wish i had this. now i will buy one

  • @acidwarp514 just set the trowel on the block you laid last. Problem solved

  • more like "no mates" looking like a cok.

  • Mud is used in britain as well.so take the frog off mate

  • Nice tool would you like to sell it on bricklayer.co.uk please e mail me on bricklayer@bricklayer.co.uk

  • hey mace106 in australia we call 'mortar' mud. go away and enjoy your wonderful sunny country working outdoors and laying bricks, blocks what ever for really good money! oh yes and by the way dick head, we also use sand and cement and can you believe it sometimes limal, yes thats right limal! im sure some parts of africa use 'mortar' in bricklaying, dont be a smart arse you sad little boy! also peanut ive been a bricky for 22 years so i have "tried it some time" fuckwit

  • typical sales tactics, what BS.

  • You guys should come up with a full head joint mate. FUCKIN BOOT!

  • Why didn't I think of that!!!

  • i like this product but there should be a real brick layer useing it, the mud doesnt set properly withought tapping the block, this guy thinks he can just put them in place,....YOU CAN, IF YOU WANT A WEEK WALL!!!! READY TO CRACK AND FALL DOWN

  • @Chroniclogical420

mud you having a laugh, where are you from africa

in england we use somthing called mortar a blend of sand and cement you should try it sometime

  • im gonna have to get me one of these, i know that he exaderated everything in the vid when he wasnt wearing the trowelmate, but either way it seems like it would be handy to keep ya from bending over alot reaching in the mud pan 4 your trowel, and if your up a set of scaffold and your laborer cant see if your tools are in the pan or not... Not a bad idea

  • here is a tip forget all that bullshit keep your trowel in your hand even when picking up blocks (not that hard) and dont leve it in mud (board) have some respect for your labour!

  • Bought one and it really is good. The product is just as described. Whether it improves your turnover as much is another matter.....i.e. try building a small quoin in a confinde space...trowel falls off.....however if you are on a line stood up for a day or two....good tool.

  • if my labourer buried my trowl he'd feel it round the back of his head, nice design would take some getting use to. where do i get 1 of these? and how much more to the point?

  • Lol.. I like the way the way they over exagerate the points like when the labourer fills the spot over the trowel. Give him a quick slap around his ear holes and he will never do it again. plus he moved alot slower with out the trowel m8. but all in all i think its a good idea. WELL DONE. ;-)

  • use a frikking mortar shell dumbass

  • you idiot never never put your trowel down or out of your hand less moves pal

  • that is a realy good idea. and because i lay bricks left handed, i have to lay the mortar down, then put down my trowel then pick up the brick/block. (because i put the brick down with my left hand aswell) this would realy help

  • great idea

  • a good mason keeps his trowel in his hand while he lays brick or block..this might be useful when laying stone.

  • @sgag83 yeh right wat if u r lifting cavity block s or even 4inch or 6 inch blocks u can build them with one hand ????????????

  • i like it

  • i hold it in me hand all the time anyway

  • been bricklaying for 32yrs wait till you build the big concrete grunters

  • i´m not far behind you.i can still back heel grunters to the line

  • you fuckers wouldnt last a day with my crew you american brickies light weight shit which i wouldnt build a dog kennel with, and as for you 4th generation mason hahahahahahahaha at 12 you was sucking your mothers tit,

  • @rodnewton

Wher do you get American from??

Learn to speak English you illiterate arse!

  • @corvettecentral wher lol you thick fuck

  • @rodnewton Go and crawl back under your rock!

  • i now a few people with that trowl mate thing and they all of them are just chucked in buckets becuase there a fuckin pain

  • how can I get 1 I live in Australia

  • @bricki1304 EBAY

  • but your righht learn to not put your trowel down at all. oh and layin block of 1 third bond.....hahahahahha dumbas block is structural

  • bighandles, watch what you say you american bricklayers have it easy with your lightweight block, not like our canadian masons IUBAC nucca

  • @emerson089

yeah im from manitoba i know what you mean

  • what in the fuck im a 4th generation mason ive been doing this since i was 12 im 22 now and these boots where ever there from laying those 4 in block are hacks and couldnt make it down in the south in alabama georgia and florida where the real masons be at an idiot would have a magnet on there belt like that ur supose to have one hand on the block on hand on the trowl this trade has turned to shit in the last couple of years

  • @bighandles11

because you all want to argue about who is better.... thats why it is shit

  • The prices we are on we dont let go of the trowel ! that hoddy would have been decked on our scaff !

  • @ MICKEYTHERYE im in work you turd 10 years you fat fucking lazy bricklayer

mickeytherye id SHIT IN your COMPO ]fatty

  • Its great for the screen of your mobile, thats in your pocket too,as long as you like the screen blank from the magnetic force!

  • Raise that freaking mud board asshole!!!

  • hmmm nice not bad bricky of25 yrs..but my new invention is better keep your eyes open for new type spot board coming..banker board .depending where u come from they call it different things

  • If your looking for an online supplier, we would be more than happy to review your product.

    Regards

    TCD

  • if an hod carrier covered my trowel with shite more than once he would be fcked off end of

  • HA AHA get pissed at the laborer cuz he doesnt move your trowel around all day like that is HIS responsibility.. . he is busy enough. . .I know HODs that would break your neck ON THE SPOT if you yelled at them. . . Ive seen them throw Super's off the scaffold thirty feet.. . .stab people with chicken bones. . . Ive known some CRAAZy Hods. . . .workin on the casinos in Vegas

  • any monkey can lay blocks im top hoddy .and none ov you brickkies could afford me . hahah .COMPO

  • @mickystormont if no brickies could afford you, your out of work r kid typical thick twat hod carrier

  • First of all, what dumbass would put his trowel on the wall?

Second of all, what laborer worth a damn would throw mud on the board without moving the trowe, or being careful to avoid it.

Third of all, I want one!

  • @CONCRETE13

well it was a demonstration it could simulate say being only 1 scafold high and the laborer shovels you the mortar from down below, he cannot see if anything is on the mud board

  • @brickclimber

Fair enough. I've learned most laborers dont give a damn anyways and have learned to put my trowel under the mudboard most of the time lol.

  • this looks good,im impressed.brickie for 25 years i know wot im on about.....

  • thanks, now i can make my own

  • gotta disagree with you guys this trowelmate is worth its wieght in gold...good product for good brickies

  • if i wlked on sit with one of these i would get laughed at

  • why did he start moving slower when he didnt have it on his side and started moving fast when he had it?

  • yes, that is a kunundrum.

  • cuz only good brickies use it lol and its not to make it look better, its so oyu can see the extra movements better

  • trowels at noon.

  • mmmmm no this is useless and yes it will catch the scaffold waste of money

  • thats fucking stupid

  • how much it cost? FOOL WHEN YOU PUT IT ON IT CATCHIES THE SCAFFOLD WHEN WORKING TO NEAR WASTE OF MONEY FOOL

  • looks like he has missed it a few times ,hows your leg ???

  • how fukin easy do the brickies want it...dont build scaff, mix or fuk all...

  • The "brickies" get payed for LAYING BRICK jackass, not building scaffold or mixing mud. If you can't handle your job have your wife sew a diaper into your jeans. most masons would find this product annoying to hang a trowel on your side anyway so stop crying.

  • how do you fancy getting down on your knees and licking my big cheesy hairy one???????????? touchy cunt!!!!!!!!!! take a fukin chill pill you english twat!!!!!.....

  • first of all, I'm sorry I didn't realize you were gay, second I'm not English, and third, how's that diaper thing coming?

  • at last something to make it easier pity no work about now

  • yeah i like this idea. a bricky!

  • i like it but i just leave the trowel on the wall between blocks!

  • i might actually get one of these! tht walls got sum bend in it lol MORTAR COVERED TROWEL!! AHHH. LOL nothin worse thn tht

  • Feel like killing the laborer!! LOL....but gota have someone to keep my company in my little area :D

  • i think dasa fking wcked design i hate bending down all the time i mean ive just started brickying and my back hurts already lol

  • if he really needs two hands to lay that block... he really shouldn't be laying block. but i could see how it could be useful on 12'' block

  • how do u mean? they look like 10s or 22s. it would be pretty hard to pick them up all day with 1 hand.

  • great invention simple but effective wouldnt need it for building brick though as the trowels never really out ur hand

  • That's a good point. Only really helpful on block.

  • As the best bricky in the world bar none..I gotta say I like the look of that thing.Very handy

  • DENMARK?pussys, we one hand 12 inch block in killa cali this is a piece of shyt designed, by pussys, for pussys!

  • i think i would use it with blocks..cause you have to use both hands on a block.. but not with bricks.. besides in Denmark we use buckets for the mortar, not boards so the throwel can easily sit on the edge. and we both lay bricks, blocks and render..education takes 3,8 years.

  • "notice how much more walking" - Look how far the wall had been built...move the fucking board and you won't have to walk so far!

  • u still have to go back to ur mortor board anyway to get more mortor, shite, plus u will look like a nob, and everone wil take the piss!

  • thats a fuckin shit invention, after 20 years of bricken, i would never use this shit or believe this bulshit add

  • clearly then your a bit of a nob

  • whats the fecking point, why dont you go and learn a trade for yourselves, bricklaying is only a labourers job

  • y was this not thot of years ago

  • cool bit of kit

  • can somone make me some toast?

  • Colins knackered at 50 !.He should think himself lucky.... Im fucked at 40

  • Well said hillbillee....Let commen sence provail come on lads its noy rocket sience...

  • Too late - my back's gone already so are the wrists. You guys get into I.T. before its too late. Don't end up like me knackered at 50.

  • your suppose to keep your trowl in hand while laying the block, if you want to save your back, prop your mud board up a lil higher mate

  • how many hands you got man, bit awkward holding a trowel wile pickin up 4 or 9 inch solids, take it u never laid a brick before lol

  • Brilliant, perfect piece of equipment!no more leaving trowel on spot board and having to go back and get it!

  • The TrowelMate makes you look gay, no way Id walk on a site with one, Id get laughed of site and rightly so too.....

  • Damn funny comment. I choked lol....

  • What a load of bullshit, every comment so far on this site is by tossers, get real. work hard being smart doing the 1percenters and most important keep an open mind, Wankers!

  • i once removed a particualy tricky cling on from my dogs arse with the tip of my trowel whilst eating barrow fulls jam butties washed down with lashings of special brew.

  • i tried fixing my trowel to my leg using JAM, but it slipped off straight into a bucket of compo, the agent wasnt to impressed with the use of jam!

  • i hooked up my old hoover cable retraction unit to my belt and trowel but it didn`t work too well.

  • wot a great idea i use jam at the mo . jam ont jeans

  • fuck ai im gettin one of them

  • Very useful tool better than that brickymate that thing is a fucking crummy D.i.y tool! No good for onsite!

  • l keep it ln my preferd hand while laying either 4, 6 or 8 in blocks. for 4 inch solids l keep the handle of the trowel pinned between the back of the block and 4 fingers, and grab the block as per usual. theres no touching of line(except when u 1st start tying it then your in the shite with the other guys on the line)or inpeding any 1 else, its quite nature after a while. But you right in OZ 6inc and 8 inch blocks are hollow which allows you to gab easier. lucky im an apprentice sparky now :)

  • youve made the right move mate, laying bricks in oz is torture, those schooner blocks rip your hands to shreads, ive done a lot of graft around sydney over the years, start at 6.30 am no good to any man,our blocks are solid, twice as long as yours and 3 brick course high as against your 1 and half course

  • aww afriad to get a lil mud on the handle lmao make anything to make some money

  • useful invention.

  • first of all if my tender covers my trowel with mud i will smack him upside of the head. second, if i had a mason put his trowel down while laying block hes down the fucking road.

  • blocks in the uk are solid, so its impossible to pick up 6 or 9in blocks with 1 hand, but i know what your gettin at

  • if you even tried to smack me upside the head for covering your stupid trowel in muck, id kick your fucking stupid wall down then id cover all your tools in mortar and let it go solid.

seriously who the fuck do you think you are? All brickies have this fuckin daft "im better than you cause i lay bricks" attitude. We all get it you guys lay bricks no one gives a shit.

Your labourers work harder than you anyway you fucking dick, at least appreciate it.

  • I think the guys on Broke Back Mountain had this on.

  • i think its a brilliant tool, it is hard work picking a block up with a trowel in your hand, i dont care if your arnie, its still hard work

  • yank blocks are hollow mate and have a partition in the middle that acts as a handle so theyre a lot easier to lay single handedly, ive been in the game since 76 and always put my trowel down to lay 9in blocks, getting compo on the handle is not workmanlike

  • Has anyone ever thought to just keep his trowel in his hand while laying the block, just like feakazoid says? That way you don't even have to waste the motion of reaching down to your side to grab it or use up energy to overcome the "magnetic field" within the product. Hats off you developing a product. It looks well made.

  • 1.52 that is so true gd marketing point but u need it 2 be spread by work of muth one ppl now about it and dont think its a waste of money i think u willl make alot of cash

  • l keep my trowel in my right hand even when lm picking blocks up to lay them whether they be 4 inch, 6 inch or 8 inch blocks, l never put it down. secondly if u butter the layed block which makes you grab the line which when your workung with other people slows everything down. good concept though.

  • in the uk the whole of the perp (head joint )must be buttered not tip jointed as in the us,so there is no clean area at either end of the block to have the handle of your trowel touch when laying and nothing to grab onto in the middle of the block as theyre solid, different strokes

  • oh dear, the selling point here is you always know where your trowel is.how about placing itn on top of the stack or give your hoddy abollicking.trowel mate i know where i`d like to stick my trowel.
