@ChompGa ok when they legalized abortion crime dropped 13-14 years later gee i wonder why could it be that less unwanted children whos parents couldent afford to feed them didnt go out and commit crimes just to eat at night? fuck republicunts the iraq war killed plenty of innocent babies children i guess republicans are pro death to women and children so fuck the republican party pro death penalty pro war pro gun against health care for the poor all these things kill people asshole
How can you justify believing in everything democrats believe in and being a christiN at the same time? Liberty has done nothing but good for this country. They have put out well informed students who can hopefully change this world back to what it was founded upon.
@ggiwT2991 "People hate LU because it is a Christian University, and they only hear what they want to hear. People claim the Christians are closed-minded, but everyone else refuses to listen to our beliefs too"
You mean like hearing a story about how the university BANNED a club purely for partisan ideological reasons, and instead hearing "simply cut off from funding"?
But hey, if your beliefs involve lying for jeebus, then you can keep them. I prefer honesty and freedom, thankyouverymuch :)
Just for all you liberty bashers. We have the number one debate team in the country. We've beaten Harvard a couple years in a row now. In 2007 our newly formed law school (as of 2004) had an 89% passage rate and in 2008 it was 94% (and this was just for first time test takers of the bar exam). The majority of our professors have had years of actual working experience in their respective fields. for example, one of my engineering professors worked for the Navy, NSA, NASA, and CIA.
Btw. The college republicans also had their funding revoked. Liberty no longer gives university funding to either the college democrats or republicans. Democrats are allowed at the school. lots of my friends are Democrats who go to Liberty U. The College Democrats are also allowed to meet on campus. Secondly, shortly after this interview, Brian Diaz withdrew from the school because of his very low grades. His GPA was close to 1.0. He was my roommate btw.
As a Christian University, Liberty upholds Christian principles and will not violate them under any circumstance. Frankly, in my debates with Brian Diaz, most of his arguments were based on emotion and not on hard facts. He's was a freshmen in the video btw. Also he's a bright kid, but wasted his time playing video games in his room. Sometimes he didn't even go to class, just to play a video game. And he spent so much time doing extracurricular activities, that he neglected his studies.
Why does she not ask Brian the most obvious question: "What the fuck are democrats doing in a crappy racket like "Liberty"? If it is to infiltrate and destroy, you´ve got my support!!
The guy at :50 says he's worried about the value of his degree, and hopes that this move by the "University" (LOL) won't make people think less of them.
News flash: Liberty is, not shockingly, one of the easiest schools in the country to get into. They also teach young earth creationism. No joke.
Trust me. Silencing a Dem. group is just one more tic on a long laundry list that shows that LU is far from being considered higher learning.
So much for the truth of the matter. I would venture that FAR WORSE happens in Iran. Liberty University's 'religion' is foundational to that school. If you don't like it, you don't have to go there, support them or think well of them. That's the freedom of America, you can go where you want, have your likes and dislikes.
Except that the school receives public funding, which means that THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is effectively supporting their views and policies in DIRECT conflict of the Bill of Rights.
And that is without going into the issue of state-level scholarships and tax-deductible scholarships to this asspit of a school ONLY.
How much "support" is the population MANDATED to give an avowedly bigoted anti-Constitutional organization? MANDATORY SUPPORT IS NOT "CHOICE"!
yes, point that finger at the official enemy as some sort of justification for your own side´s very hollow conceptions of liberty, land of the free indeed.
For those of us who live in Lynchburg, we know this University is a joke...It not only one of the most closed minded schools in the nationi it is also one of the "gayest" schools in Virginia. Just walk around campus and notice the many Liberty "Belles" on campus.
Democratic party supports the killing of babies...so they can get lost!

@SCE2AUX "Private university = Their rules"
Where have I heard that defunct argument before...something to do with lunches and black people...hmmmm....or was it homosexuals and housing?
Take your pick, all three are based on the same xenophobic intolerant might-makes-right bullshit, and equally deserving of ridicule.

@SCE2AUX Would you be saying that about a university that banned the College Republican Club? Somehow I doubt it.

@SCE2AUX Repeating the same trite, meaningless slogan = not answering the question

@SCE2AUX Also, it's questionable just "private" Liberty University is, considering that it gets millions every year in federal grant money.
