  • I always remember you Neil! You're the BEST!

  • I remember you Neil

  • ND has done about three million great album cuts like this one, stuff that never makes the radio playlists but has a spot in the hearts and minds of his fans...

  • If any one has another cool song of neil "LAST AMONG THE STARS" plese post it I have got real loving memories attached.

  • ...it is yr lips that i always remember the most....shapes....and the smell of yr skin....

  • ...it is yr lips that i always remember the most....shapes....and the smell of yr skin....

  • ...you r u, i am me...we may never meet yet, we r connected by moments of feelins, words, time, memories, beginnins, endins, music, passion, moments in time...i drift often yr way just to hold a memory never to be broken because of distance...the perfect relationship...and it is ours...thanks for the timeless moments in time of rememberances........

  • Neil's album cuts can be awkward at times, especially the ones done during his '12000 pc orchestra' period, but this comes across beautifully. I love the subtle and introspective songs, have been a fan since the 60s!

  • Another point of interest, "You dont bring me flowers" was intended to be a double album called " The American Popular Song" but with the success of the single with Striesand Neil was pressured into a Christmas 78 single album release. Consequently the following album "September Morn" was made up significantly of the cover versions of great American pop songs which would have been intended for the double album had he released it.

  • This is still my all time favourite from "You dont bring me flowers". I always smirk with embarrassment when I remember how I used to misinterpret the lyric and wonder what was Neil doing standing in line 4 and who was queuing in the other 3 lines . I would love to hear a live recording of this but I dont think Neil has done one. Neil always delivers better vocally in front of an audience as if the meaning of the song suddenly comes into focus for him.

  • I never get tired of this

  • OOOOOH I love this song...its so calming and only Neil can sing it soooo good ;) Thank you for posting this sweet song....dh

  • wish there was a live version of this song...

  • Neil we will always remember you.

  • I remember this song. I broke up with a girl and this song I played a lot. It was very relevant at the time and I still feel this is one of my favourite Diamond songs.

  • Who could ever forget that voice, or those eyes. Thanks for the post. I love the photos you used.

  • I remember too. Sunday - the day Im gonna see him. Excited!!!!!

  • I'll be thinking about you on Sunday...have a terrific time...I finally decided on a tapestry sign to take to OKC concert....seems he likes signs...suggestion of his son Jesse when I asked him about using one of his photos....let me know how things go...are ya going to stake out his hotel....

  • Thank you for this... I don't know why, but of all my favorites of Neil's, "Signs", from "Beautiful Noise", is my all-time favorite. He also sang this in his 2005 tour, and I was delightfully surprised.
