first of all we WERE part of Yugoslavia, which fell apart and we were the first country which left Yugoslavia... so we`ve been independent since 1991, and secondly yeah we kind of hate gypsies too, I mean not hate but the thing is that they're just too offensive, rate of crime is much higher among them per capita as among slovenians (but it's similar with other migrants from ex-Yugoslavia too)

@AnzeS11 poor people do crime. gypsies are poor. they are criminals because they are poor. it's clear to me no one in the balkans would so much as give a gypsie the time of day so what else can they do? they have to sell stuff on the street and do what it takes to stay alive. i know they are unjustly discriminated against because all i heard was that they are bad but, like, once heard an actual story of something bad a gypsie did, and that was just a second hand story.

let me tell u why that fuzz with gypsies even started

there was a little viliage in little slovenia next to wich a family of gypsies lived, and those poor ppl lacked a lot of things so they took it from naibours, of course they didnt ask anyone for premmision, and then one day a boy and his father from that viliage were choping woods behind their house and those poor ppl came and decited that they need woods too, so as usually for them they took it......................

....................offcourse that man and his son didnt allowed them to do it they beat the hell of that man in front of his son. that innocent action caused the ppl of that viliage repeled and surround the gypsie settelment and demand them to leave. then the police came and took the gypsies away to protect them against an angry crowd the next day politicians stepped in and used the event for their own advantage...............the rest of it u herd on bbc or wherever

now i ask u, u talk about gypsies and there rights, well where are the rights of that man who was almost killed cuz he didnt gave them his woods or his son who had to watch his father get brutaly beaten

those gypsies who did it were not sanctioned in fact ''in the light'' of that event they were given a new property and even a new house

PS:1. a lot of slovenians are poor too but they dont go arround and steal, harras, ... and if they do that the police comes and puts them to jail, and nobody ask for their rights

2. if the gypsies want to benefit from civilisation they first need to civilise themselves(put their kids in schools, get a job,....)
