Just as we were about to have a another golden age of Disney Animation with the release of "The Princess and the Frog", he dies. If it wouldn't have been for Roy, we wouldn't have the second golden age of the 1990's with films like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. We will all miss him :..(....
Hey Ben, it shocked me too. I had feeling in my mind that he would stay with us for a long time, but I had no idea that he had health problems. I'm just glad he's in a better place. The last time I saw him, he was saying some kind words about "Brother Bear" :)

You know I think you should also include characters from Disney's rival universe, Don Bluth Studios (i.e. Fievel, Littlefoot, charlie barkin).
I mean, I do know they are non-Disney characters. Yet their universe played a vital role in Disney's prestige of the 1980's.
