That's funny, I did the same thing to my stock BST40 cv crap when I got my TM40. Mines an 05, and I did the full FMF. and open airbox at the same time. Now she's got some pull, even power wheelies.
Yes it does bolt on if you get the kit from Procycle, comes with shorter cables, and special made sleeves to fit the stock boots. If your stock let them know, so they can jet it accordingly. Take the stock little sock fuel filter out of the end of the fuel line also, and put in an inline.
