Liam Gallagher doesn't try to copy his heroes and claim he's the best. He tries to say, instead, that his heroes are best, and he's saying it by showing how much he loves emulating them. Although I wouldn't mind if there were more original things in Beady Eye's arsenal, this stuff is still extremely good, as is the content from Noel's High Flying Birds. Everyone who demonizes Liam for these things are doing the exact opposite of what Noel wants them to do.

But there is a difference using an influence to create a new song and just ripping off that song. But if it was easy then we would all be doing it. Beady Eye are good, I like this song, Four Letter Word, and Bring The Light. Don't listen to Beady Eye coz you expect them to change music. Listen to them coz your a rock and roll fan.
