so this train is impossible to go to kyoto.utmost go to shin osaka only

Hmmm, well I'm 100% sure that I take the Hikari from Kyoto station to Tokyo and back again. I've ridden it many times. I didn't ride this train to Shin-Osaka, but this is Kyoto station.
