JACK, Well Done mate, very proud of you, it must of taking a lot of bottle, u held your nerve to play along side a very talented & accomplished player in Joe. C u soon. DARREN.
wow. hope they put out a DVD of this whole Jam Fes. Jack is wonderful-hope he doesn't make the same "mistakes" in his personal life his Dad did-Hope Jack lives a LONG, fufilling, artistic life...And that Joe Bonamass.......GO UPSTATE, NY !!!!
The Blues is a very healing medium...Keb´Mo said. A song from the pen of the supernatural and composed by an angel. It goes so deep into the soul of man....so it never be forgotten. Joe and Jack you are great!! Keep it up, long live the blues!
Signed off on my comment a little early...Jack did a great solo!!! My hubby and I sa Joe perform at the Royal Albert Hall on May 4, 2009 so it's great to see him so comfortable on stage again at the RAH. Bad Kitty
This made my day, thanks for sharing and yes Jack looks a little uncomfortable on the big stage but it takes baptism by fire to get used to the heat. Hope he gained from moment on stage with Joe and I hope many other greats take Jack under their wings and share input as well. What a good looking young man and like the others said, He is not Gary and nobody will ever be Gary. Just let Jack do what he wants and dont expect him to ever be equal to his Dad. Im just glad to own the collection I have
Great to see this... But why couldn't Joe an Gary have got together 4 a jam b4 'The Man' left us, That would have been somethin' special... Great post, Thanks
Yes, it is...he´s, of course, quite shy yet...but he´s got Gary´s tone...a more than good base. But I think that it is very important now to let Jack develope his own and not to compare him with his father...he´s Jack and not Gary, I really hope that anybody respect him as another and it´s own person with hopefully his own story!
@ArnyLitheman Thanks for the comment Arny. I was not comparing Jack to his dad, merely noting his similarity of tone. I, like others posting below, do not compare one guitarist to another. That would be unfair to both parties. Jack could do far worse, though, than take influence, not only from Gary, but from Joe too. He WILL develop his own style & personality and I, for one, look forward to seeing that development. Not a bad starting place though, is it!
Oh...I didn´t mean that you´re comparing him to his dad! I just mention that in generally because many people will surely do so, like they did it for example with Julian Lennon, too, until he quited music full of frustration...
why not let the kid sing?

Another great video. Thanks Pete. Good to see that Gary's guitar playing genes have been passed to his son.
