Props my friend. Very well done. I like your 4 fret stretch there in between the last chorus and ending. I read the lyrics as you were sining, Love Them. Very good job. No doubt. You are all raw talent. Check out my page, I will be posting my songs soon.
After reading all the coments on this song and how critical some are on the sound/voice etc., I say keep up exactly what you're doing. If they all knew you, they'de understand why you put so much effort into your voice and guitar. It's b/c every song you write has so much meaning and passion behind it that it's hard to control the power you put into it when playing. As always, you know I consider every one of your song to be A+, regardless of the nit-pickers.
thanx brother - i appreciate it. i really dont care what a few of these people say...... but youre right - thats just how its supposed to be sang - i really dont plan it, and i'm not trying to do it - it just comes out that way.
I like the song, the voice and the guitar playing - sorta reminds me of a Queensryche sound, but nice and original. I wonder what it would sound like a little softer, i.e. play like you're worried the guitar strings are about to snap, so you have to be easy, and sing with a softer sound. Your voice is good enough to carry you soft or loud, not like some bands that HAVE to shout. Make sense? Anyway, I liked it.
I really like it, but I would lik eit more clean...I dont like the up down tone "On love gone by and - + misery" And almost every other sentence. Keep up what you do, ur great! :P
thanks for all your comments - i'm glad you're enjoying my songs. i'm new here and need all the help i can get. let's see how many people we can spread the word to.
very good 'rock' voice and this song does have some excellent elements in it--listened several times now and it definitely could have a very wide appeal. Good Luck
Prolly my absolute favorite. Knowing you makes all the difference when listening to this song. Thanks for the request. Keep it up...somebody important is going to appreciate your talent. BTW...one can see the "feeling" you put into this song by just watching you sing it.
