  • Thank you, Candace and Kirk for speaking on behalf of Jesus and your faith and love for Him. God bless you both!! : )

  • well if you wanna produce some fruit. I got some seeds you can have.Bitch

  • I respect both Kirk & Candace, but I really prefer Mike Seaver & DJ Tanner.

  • Thankyou!

  • Poor Candace Cameron! :( She could actually be living a happy and exciting life if she weren't imposing all of this garbage onto herselfie :s DJ is carefree and funsies! ^-^ She doesn't care about such things and her dad's Jewish, even! :D Heehee! ^-^

    Yaysies! ^-^

  • Why are people so offended at Christians??? You may not agree with Christianity but at least respect the person.

  • i still dont think she's crazy like her brother Kirk Cameron; hell she married a Bure she must be a secret freak

  • I accept that God is a just and fair Judge, but is ETERNAL PUNISHMENT a fair and just punishment for any sin or crime we humans have committed? I mean, muderers get off easier than that! I don't think we have any concept of how long ETERNITY is. Eternity is forever, never ending, no second chances. I don't know of any rational parent that would dole out a punishment that severe.

  • In this age of lies, I'm always blown away by those brave enough to speak THE TRUTH. Thank you Candace for being a sword in the heart of the Dragon and an Arrow flying from the Master's Bow.

  • She is so great, I love her! Such a great role model :)

  • GOOD MSG SHE DID SPEAK THE TRUTH NOT WATER IT DOWN, I TALE U THIS TRUTH FROM WHAT I FELT I CANT STAND PEACHERS WATER DOWN THE MSG GOD WENTS ALL OF US TO HEAR, MY PEACHER JOSH FRANKS HE WHAT I SEE HE PEACH HOW GOD WENT HIM TO N NOT LET ME REPEAT THIS NOT WATER IT DOWN I THINK NOT SURE WITH

  • You need to contact your fellow workers from full house THEY need JESUS!

  • She became a Christian because she was scared? You should never believe something just because you're afraid of what might happen if you don't...

  • It really makes us think... what will God say to us on Judgment Day for our actions here on earth. I know for a fact that I don't deserve God's love and forgiveness and yet everyday He shows it to me and I feel so ashamed that I don't value Him enough... I want more of my God but to do that I need to give Him more of me... I'm sorry, Lord. <3 Help me to find strength in You.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Great role model!

  • Thank you Andre Mijail for posting this. I've been reading Matthews this week and I just happened to click on this video by accident and it relates to everything I have studying. Thanks so much!

  • super amen!!!!!!!!

  • @thelastcall100 super duper amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • jacksmack77 , wow u r mistaken, u cant just say i believe in jesus 2 be saved, u need 2 ask him into ur life and admit u r a sinner, salvation is no garrentee u need 2 confess with ur mouth and beleieve in ur heart that jesus christ is lord ect. and will be saved,

  • Didn't know she was Christian !

Wow I'm so happy now god keep her ..n yea salvation is not a permit to sin.. Dont play with your salvation great testimony ...

  • love this sermon

  • @spudcool Why is she wearing make up ??

  • @MrBeautifulba1 why? can't she wear make up?

  • @PrincessZorlon I don't care if she wears make up. However, according to the bible, "vanity" is a sin. The secular world doesn't care if she wears make up. But according to the bible christians should be in the world but not of the world, meaning that if she truly was following christ she wouldn't waste "his" money on something so unimportant. Make up is a mask. A true follower of christ wouldn't be concerned about make up at all !!! Honestly, I don't care if she wears make up. Religion, tiring

  • "I went through the Ten Commandments and I saw that I broke all of them"

You... have killed people? I hope that was metaphorical...

  • @maximkazhenkov11 The NT clears this up... it takes the OT law and shows where people thought that they have kept the law... shows that they have NOT kept the law

  • @PrincessZorlon what's NT and what's OT?

  • She is so amazing I LOVE HER SO MUCH for what she does witnessing to the world - im a Christian too and I have never heard such a famous person do something like that - God should be so proud of her :) and if someone ever asks you who is a good role model - say CANDACE CAMERON . . . because she puts her faith before her career in which she could be making so much more money but she chose God first LUV HER xxx :)

  • These people and beliefs are the reason I'm agnostic.

  • I love you Candace. From Full House. But you are mixed up! John 6:47. Verily, verily, I say unto you he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. If you believe on Jesus you have everlasting life. A God-given life that cannot be lost! Eternal life is a free gift. You only need to believe in Jesus ONCE to be saved from hell. John 3:15-16, 18, 36. God bless. Jesus died for all your sins!

  • @jacksmack77 true repentance, a change of mind and purpose and life, to which remission of sin is promised. Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord,

  • im glad she is religious and stuff but I didnt think she was this religious

  • I couldnt tell if she was preaching being saved by Jesus Christ or by works. It kind of sounded like both, sure we should try and b more like Jesus but w/o accepting him as our savior and repenting of our sins doing good things wont matter. Ive noticed the more I really strive hard 2 b more like Jesus is when I sin and mess up. But that wont send me to hell, by not truly accepting Jesus' gift and turning from sin I send myself to hell. No matter how "moral" I am, I cant get 2 heaven on my own

  • @FriknBwyLuv

exactly, Paul said that the more he tried to obey the commands he saw his sin, but that doesnt mean to stop obeying it just shows us that we need to depend on GOD to be obedient and place no confidence in our own works

  • @FriknBwyLuv they say if you get saved you will go to heaven, but the first time you slip up, they say you aren't saved anymore. btw i'm reading Rob Bell's Love Wins and finding it resonant, will be called apostate by some but so be it. I believe God's love is bigger, deeper, stronger than we finite humans can even imagine.

  • @ronfowlermusic Who is they?? I believe if youre saved you go to heaven, yes. But if you 'slip up' which we ALWAYS will im pretty sure I do everyday, you do not go to hell. The point of being saved is being forgiven, whats the point of accepting the gift of salvation if it can just be taken away again?? Thats not grace or mercy. Thank goodness God gives me so much grace and mercy cause I mess up alot. And when I become convicted of my screw ups I repent. You cant lose salvation.

  • @FriknBwyLuv "they" are people like Candace. Listen to her testimony. She recieved Christ at age 12, but she says years later she was headed for hell. I agree with your statement - you can't lose salvation.

  • What is wrong with you guys she teaching the word of Christ.!

  • @esz148 Didn't read the comments but my guess would be the same thing the Holy Bible tells us is wrong with all men; sin (i.e. spiritually dead).

  • 8:00 That's it.

  • Guess what, Candace. You are still living in sin and will always be living in sin. Believe that Jesus paid the price in full and don't put your faith in your faith. All your works no matter how sincere will always come short. If you believe that you will be Left Behind because you didn't pray enough or go to church enough or witness enough....then your religion is no different than Islam. Christ paid the price in full. That is the Good News.

  • @lucasboden thats whats shes saying...shes preaching the good news

  • She murdered jesus of course just like every one else ^_^

  • @TheConsciousMatter It was God who crushed Jesus.

  • who did u murder candace?

  • @PshPllDp1988 Jesus says that if you HATE others thats murder

  • Oh come on!! In the words of Uncle Joey, "cut - it - out!!!" :P appealing to emotions doesn't count as rational argumentation...

  • Exceptionally Well Done !! Her analogies are spectacular. She explained this so well and so honestly.

  • So she basically only strives to be good because she fears being judged by God and sent to hell.

Without her notions of "God" and "hell" she would otherwise see no reason to be moral in life. That is really sad.

  • @Ash1706 I totally agree.. That's what scared me about her speech. She was living a good life already and seed that were in her since she was little blossomed into full out brain wash.

  • Painful to watch.... After a person has the incredible weight lifted off of their shoulders (deconversion), watching deluded, brainwashed people is so incredibly sad. I rarely feel pity for Christians....but this is especially heartbreaking...*facepalm* Religion is pure evil.

  • @sparky7718 Yo spark think of it this way if somebody wants to think there is God and live a great life for God and at the end they are wrong..well they turn to dust and will never know. Now somebody like you who does not think there is a God , well just say you are wrong...hmmmmmm If people are happy thinking there is a God then why not let them be happy is all i am saying

  • @crazy8721 If people are happy just thinking there is a god, that's fine. The problem with Christianity is that they insist that since I don't believe, I will burn forever... Did you forget about that little detail? Apostasy (not believing or leaving the fold) is the only unpardonable sin.. In other words, Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer can go to heaven if they take Jeebus as their lord and saviour, but I cannot. That is a repugnant notion... do some research before commenting over your head.

  • @sparky7718 Actually it is the natural people, unsaved, not washed clean, that are like a wave tossed about on the sea.

  • @Brucev7 You just proved your ignorance. God produced us unwashed, (dirty sinners) and commanded us to be well? Fuck him. Oh wait, he doesn't exist. Do you believe in the Devil. A red-skinned, hooved, horned, spaded tailed guy in a hot place bWaahahahah! Spit out the pacifier pal.

  • @sparky7718 So much indignation. God created a man and a woman in perfect harmony, in a perfect environment. Are you proposing you do not believe in God? Why do you speak with so much emotion, if something does not exist?

  • @sparky7718 The wisdom of the cross is follishness to those who are perishing but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. My friend i beg you to repent and put your faith in Christ. He came and died on the cross according to the Word of God bearing the weight of sin and rose again according to the Word of God. Gods' creation reveals His majesty. And to satan he is not red and hooved but disguises himself as an angel of light. Turn from your sin by believeing in Christ the risen King!

  • @sparky7718 THAT'S NOT WHAT THE DEVIL LOOKS LIKE BUD THE BIBLE DESCRIBES HIM AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ANGEL

  • @sparky7718 'christianity is not a religion its a realtionship with God , if you listen to her speak she says that Jesus died for sinners because He loved us and we cant get ourselves to heaven. Jesus enables us to know HIm and he gets us to heaven

  • Candy, u got it all wrong! We send ourselves to hell by our actions and our will to be disobedient, not God!

  • Amen!

  • @xxch3lxx w/a bucket of chicken!

  • WOW, isn't the gospel beautiful! Very powerful, and very true, thanks for sharing Candace. May the Lord bless you

  • I can't believe she quotes a list of sinners from the bible that includes 'homosexuals'.

  • @heidintank What's wrong with that? She was just quoting directly from Scripture.

  • @heidintank Homosexuality is a sin.

  • She has some of the mannersisms of her brother!!! HAH

  • Wow that was Amazing!!

  • What an amazing sermon preached by Candace; I'm so inspired :)

  • Amen God, It's hard to believe that there are people in this World who are non believers, God is Good <3 <3

  • this is really good!!! I love Candace-she is my role model! She never let fame get to her and she is such a sweet, christian lady!

  • @randomerzproductions

    I agree with you!

  • This is such a wonderful testimony! I pray that this (and ones like it) will be a blessing to the fallen world.

  • @TheLORDismySheperd1

    I completely agree! I'm moved.

  • Lol at atheists

  • Wow. I bet she would be super easy to beat in a debate.

  • Comment removed

  • DJ is preaching

  • Candace is one of the most straight people in ministrythat I have ever heard. She doesn't compromise and she isn't into hype. She'd down to earth as well.

  • Comment removed

  • In this world, everyone could use some "brain washing" which actually, and thankfully, begins immediately after the initial "sin washing" commences. That's what the supernatural blood of the Lamb has the power to do. Let him who has ears, hear what the Spirit says.

  • nothin better than the gospel!

  • Candace really spoke the truth in this video. We are not a good person according to God and we need His salvation through Jesus Christ, then to repent of our sins. I have come across many in the chuch who think they can walk the fence and willfully live in sin. They ar eunder an illusion that God is pleased with them.

  • The Deed Is More Important Than The Creed. UNLESS...you are a Way Of The Master Devotee.

  • I'm a psychologist and for me all "beliefers" are poor people who needs someone to belief in! I try to be a good person and I don't need to be threatend by hell to be good, I just wanna be!

And people who don't tolerate others, like homosexuells (that's what Cameron says!), are BAD!!!! Not matter what they beliefe in!

  • R U saying that you're not tolerant of those who are not tolerant of others? Gasp!! I can't believe you're so intolerant!!

  • you're a psychologist and cant spell "homosexuells", "threatend" or "beliefe"? Also I think you meant believers instead of "beliefers". good times

  • @GirlVegan OK. Then seek the Lover of your soul, the Creator of Life. How could your own Father be tolerant of your wrong doings? Is it love to allow you to do something that could injure, not be good for you, or someone else? A Judge not giving you a sentence for you breaking the law?

  • @Brucev7 I agree that a loving Father would see the necessity for some punishment, but ETERNAL PUNISHMENT? That seems out of proportion to whatever sins one person could be guilty of. If 99% of humanity is going to burn in hell eternally,. then heaven must be a very sad place. God and His servants grieving for all those souls that were lost.

  • @ronfowlermusic But it is a person's choice. Why would anyone in their right mind, except by mere pride, stubbornness and foolishness chose separation?

  • @ronfowlermusic - The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin not sins. The sin of not believing and accepting what Jesus did on the cross. Jesus suffered as no one has suffered for all of us. Refusing that incredible gift is not something God takes lightly. If He lets those who reject this sacrifice into heaven, then what was the point of Jesus' suffering and death? In that case, there would have been no need for Jesus to do what He did.

  • Awesome Testimony!! =)

  • @kaydiemarie93 ....i totally agree....this was a definite "eye-opener" for me!

  • it totally was for me too! It made me realize a lot more than i had before.

  • the movie left behind ive never seen in german i hope it will be in german too.thats what i believe like this film. because the signs are everywhere. if somone thinks im a maniac -im not interestet. i love jesus an i know he is the way and the light. i love him in deeply bottom of my heart. no one getting to god without jesus and if the whole world says me im crazy they will see in moment of their dead. but then its to late. love to jesus doesnt cost anything.god is my judge an jesus my advocate

  • @07821631589 Sorely deluded and misguided. Read another book already.

  • maybe you should read an another book ! i am on the right way. but thanks for your coment. i have not to share your mind. so let me my mind.i belive and trust in god. so whatever you belive, go on. ok? thanks

  • i cant stand cameron as a was i child in full house but when i ive i heard she became a good christian i shamed of myself -iam a christian too and i hope candece and her brother are blessed of god for the eternitiy. her speech is so true. im a german an to see a celebrity is a good christian its like anybody touch my heart. jesus died for my sins and for everybodys sins. so why the people didint believe? i beliefe and iam proud of everyone who belives in god and jesus.

  • She's a good role model, man! She should be a role model for the World!

  • I really like what she explains starting on 6:50

  • Wonderful Candance. Thank you for sharing and witnessing. It is a strength for others. It is good to hear truth.

  • she's talking about the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5. 22 "Love, peace, joy, self control, faithfulness, among others...." The where you are going part is debatable. I cannot prove the existence of an after-life, just I cannot prove a lot of stuff. However, even with no proof...I think it's obvious that God has to exist, the reason is simple because someone must have set the laws of the universe and its perfection for lack of a better word...

  • perfection is not possible in this world there is NOTHING about this world or beyond this world that is perfect .Perfect is unattainable and unreachable it is not humanly possible everyone of us human beings have FLAWS nothing can be considered perfect in this world otherwise how do you explain the words FLAWS?

  • I said perfection for lack of a better word just as I wrote on my previous comment. What I mean for example is stuff like the way our bodies heal, how the sun and water causes the plants to grow and bear fruit. you say there is nothing perfect beyond this world that is just your opinion, or what proof do you have to make such statement? you are right when you say we have flaws, but that wasn't my point in my previous comment.

  • But our bodies heal through exercise and medications at least thats what I believe.Something someone like yourself needs to understand I dont hate Christians some of my best friends are Christians and we love each other dearly. They are true christians though they dont judge they love I may not believe what they believe but I believe in them and their compassion towards others their empathy and their humanity.

  • You can disagree with me all you want to thats you're right as it is mine to speak from the heart when I feel I need to. What proof do you have that perfection exists in the first place ? Could you please elaborate then on what your point actually was?

  • Yes it is just MY opinion just as it is yours that you believe otherwise and you are entitled to that.I only said what I said because I have found reliable sources that have backed up my claims about this actors internalized homophobia that is not a christian act to hate people who are different that is the act of a religious bigot period.

  • A. What fruit are Christians known to produce?

    B. When you die you're going back to where you were before you were born, e.g. non-existence

  • Great testimony!!

  • Religion pollutes this world it brings no good and I only mean specific individuals such as the one who posted this video. I have some wonderful Christian friends and I respect their beliefs and you know why? They respect ME as a human being and they never judge they love dont persecute they care dont demean or damn someone for being different just because they have certain beliefs they care about me and love me as I love them and care about them period.

  • @losartandeterment806 Yes, religion does enslave people, but a relationship with God frees us. There is a difference. It's all good that you respect people of different faiths, but don't ignore your own spiritual life just because others fall short of your standards. In other words, reject God for who He is, not for who His followers are. Make sense?

  • Sorry but I have no respect for her or her brother they have some of the most radical way of thinking like most Christians do.She's also just as bigoted hypocritical and cold as her brother is towards people who are gay like myself.Don't pray for me anyone no prayers are needed for me to be true to myself and live as I want to not some mythical being in the sky.

  • @losartandeterment806 Actually if they were bigoted, they would ridicule or just ignore a person who has chosen Homosexuality. Hypocritical? How? Telling someone they can be free of guilt and a curse of sin leading to death is love, not hate.

  • I have goosebumps. Thanks Cameron I really needed to hear this :-)

  • I'm sorry but, she sounds the exact same way she did 14 years ago... I miss full house!!

  • @whereswaldo2424 i know, she does. i know, i love full house!

  • She is so pretty

  • In the OT physical punisment is affliccted upon those that agreed to abide by those laws and sacrifices were offered for sins.after Jesus died in replace punishment has been paid by him and man is not to punish others unless is just to keep the good of all. "follow peace with all men" heb "love ur enemies" Jesus

  • Of course we don't find any in the NT that makes believers harm unbelievers because of their unbelief and sin. Hebrews says "follow peace with all men and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord" . Jesus said "love your enemies" . Nothing in the NT supports what you trying to argue 4

  • amazing great role model

  • Why all the quibbling over the use of the term "religion".

It's a much broader term than most people seem to think.

So don't waste your time on it. It can mean many things.

She seems like a pretty brassy broad. Good for her.

A lot of kids go through all this stuff. She is so right on.

  • I[m gnna do 1verseatthetime from the KJV: Exodus 22:20: "He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed." This chapter is refering the commands God is giving to the Israelites. And it applies to them and their community. When they were driven out of Egypt they promised to follow the Lord. They could stay in Egypt but they decided to follow God and his commands. This commandment is for that specific people, thousands of years ago. If you read chapter 20

  • About how God drowned the Egiptians. The Bible itself responds this issue. God started with plagues that didn't thread life severly. Yet the Egiptians were hardened. God wanted to abolish Israel's slavery but in the Red Sea the Egiptians were willing even to kill them. After the plague and so many warning from Moses it was literraly either the life and freedom of Israel or the lives of them (of course they didn't stot even with all the plagues). Is that unfair? I will try to respond more later

  • Candace is great and very inspiring. I hope she continues speaking

  • Uhmmm... I don't see why you don't want to cite those verses if you say that they exist. If you can't cite them I just won't argue about something you don't want to talk about. You always shift the ground of the dialogue. And by the way, I don't think humans were prepared (as it happens today) to receive the full knowledge of nature because scientific understanding has to increase over the years. Back then people wouldn't understand things that we can tell easily today.

  • And Galileo was threathened with death by the Roman Catholic authority. But there is no strong evidence in Scripture to say that the Earth was the Center of Universe. The issue was a matter of challenging the authority they wanted to impose on people not in what Scripture really said.

  • There are all kinds of scriptures that can be interpreted to suggest a Geocentric universe (that's why people thought as they did). But that's the problem! It's all a matter of interpretation. You're not getting God's word in the Bible. You're getting someone's interpretation. Today, you get YOUR pastor's interpretation. 200 years ago, they got their authority's interpretation. You still have no direct line top God, and who's to say whose interpretation is correct. Talk about your relativity!

  • First of all talk about "all kinds of scriptures that can be interpreted to suggest a Geocentric universe". There is the correct interpretation of Scripture, meaning the meaning of each verse that the writer wanted the verse itself to express. The right interpretation would make the author to talk for himself. First of all, cite the Scriptures that you mention.

  • I have to site your scriptures to you? Read the darned thing for heaven's sake. The people who wrote the Bible were an ignorant, bronze-age people who thought the Earth was only 6,000 years old. That's another way you can tell that they weren't talking to an all-knowing God --- they can't even get the most basic science right. And how do you know what the correct interpretation is? Hello?!!!! That's my point. The Catholics thought they had the right interpretation back in Galileo's day.

  • First, you don't know if that was "christian" authority. Being Christian is not just saying your Christian. It's about following God's command revealed in the Old and New Testament alike, without disregard of both. Then, I believe Christianity is true because it has strong evidence. And people "burn" (we discussed this earlier) because they are wicked and God is the just rewarder of the wicked, not because they don't agree with me.

  • This is exactly what I'm talking about. This is the kind of thinking that lead to the Inquisition. If people don't believe in Christ or Christianity, then they must be "wicked." And wicked people will lead others astray, right down to hell. So, if they're already going to hell, why not try and save them (even if by torturing them -- after all, they're wicked and God's enemies) rather than let them burn in hell? What you've just enunciated has lead to more evil than any other doctrine -- ever!

  • Sinners prayer, ask Jesus into your heart, make a decision for Jesus......all deceptions parents put on their kids to ease their own hearts about going to heaven.

  • Just to know if I should reply you or someone else will. Blessings.

  • LOL @ shk2918! I hate to laugh but that is sssooo true!

  • she is so cute... sounds like her brother's style of preaching :)

  • Candace is awesome! What a great testimony.

  • What about scientists like Francis Collins, his faith in Christ stops his science? Not, ask himm

  • Francis Collins is not a true Christian bro, he denies creation and believes in a "Theistic Evolution".

  • Galileo, Newton, Euler, Gauss, Kepler, Tycho Brahe, Coppernicus, Descartes, and many more professed to be Christians or were in fact Christians. According to them, their belief in God helped them do their science? If you investigate their lives you can conclude that their belief in God helped in their science... I think one of the reasons the Catholic Church [which is not Christ on Earth] rejected science because his authority was much challenged among other reasons. I don't defend them

  • Are you kidding? Christianity has been awful for Western Civilization! The 1,000 years spent trying to create Augustine's City of God set our progress back at least that much -- maybe more. Christianity created hell on Earth by championing ignorance, fighting science & any kind of progress. The founders of this country knew that. Why don't you? Are you really familiar with Western History -- the religious wars, the conflict, the lack of progress, witch hunts, Imprisoning Galileo? Get real woman!

  • First of all I''m a man... Second I have read a book "The making of the West"... Llike I said before, it's differente saying Christianity and Christendom. I personally believe that Crusades and all that stuff come from ignorants who don't know Christ because He doesn't tell us to do that. Also we can say that ALL Christian influence has been negative [I would say none]. What helped the instauration of hospitals? For example, ever asked that question? Galileo was Christian or he professed

  • Yes, and the Christian authority of the time locked up Galileo for speaking plain truth. That's what you get when you put dogma above truth. And indeed, that's the very definition of religion (especially true in Christianity) --- it's something you absolutely have to believe regardless of the evidence. And if you don't, you burn in hell forever. So leading people away from Christian truth causes them to burn in hell forever. Better to kill the ones leading people astray in the here and now.

  • Are you writting to me or someone else?

  • whomever.

  • People mistake the crusades, etc. as a movement of Christianity. That was the Roman Catholic church. True Christians (followers of Christ) would never use violence to "convert" people. The negative things you point out (misterdeity) are not a result of true Christianity but the result of the Roman Catholic church's attempt to control people through fear and ignorance. Please replace "Christianity" with "the Roman Catholic church". One does not equal the other.

  • They were simply following the Bible which tells Christian and Jew alike to kill people who preach other gods (or none). They were simply more faithful to the text than you are (apparently). That's the true spirit of the Bible --- murder for apostasy, taking the name of the Lord in vain, disobedience to parents, homosexuality, not being a virgin, etc... Those are NOT Roman Catholic inventions. That's the Bible. Read it. That's true, Biblical Christianity. Live it!

  • I can sense your bitterness toward Christianity and the Bible. I pray that some day God will touch your heart. You are entitled to your opinion.

  • Well, I would have appreciated an honest reply rather than your prayers and pity. There is no bitterness towards anything but people not being honest about what they believe and what is in the book they say is the the Word of God. Dismissing everyone who reads the Bible with a skeptical eye as "bitter" and whose heart is hard may make you feel superior, but it doesn't answer the issue at hand. Of course, I know there's really no defense, so I'll take this as your surrender.

  • Time to answer. Now if that's the Bible teaching as you say, could you quote where exactly it is? And we go on and on. Look that you said that "that what the Bible says", if it's otherwise I will regard you as ignorant of the right interpretation of Scripture.

  • Will this do?

Kill those who worship another god(s). Exod/ 22:20

Kill friends/family who worship another god. Deut. 13:6-10

Kill inhabitants of cities where people worship differently. Deut. 13:12-16

Kill everyone with different religious views. Deut. 17:2-7

Kill anyone who doesn't listen to a priest. Deut. 17:12-13

    Kill false prophets. Deut. 18:20

Any city that doesnt receive the Christians will be destroyed in a manner even more savage than that of Sodom and Gomorrah. Mark 6:11

    I have more.

  • Go ahead cite more so I can answer all at once... be careful, in scripture (especially in Deut. you won't find word by God such as "religious") If you cite something try to be precise (Anyway I will be precise in citing them). Do you any more?

  • I could go on and on. I'm obviously not quoting them above. I'm only giving you the gist of verses mentioned. I don't know what you think you're going to be able to answer. I can read the stuff right for myself in black and white. I know what the verses say, and I know how the verses have been interpreted historically. They are what they are. Just look at the Noah story. God murders everyone but eight people in a brutal way. Not a nice guy. Or, how 'bout killing all the first borns? Not cool!

  • Let me answer the quotes you prensented then. If I finish my homework today I hope I get to answer all...

  • Okay, but if you're just going to go to some apologetics web site like CARM and regurgitate what they say there, you can save it. I've read it all. I just don't find the explanations, in any way, satisfying or honest. And anyway, defending genocide is now almost entirely out of fashion.

  • I'm just using my knowledge of Scripture and my argumentative skills if I have one. Notice something interesting. Most of the quotes are from the Old Testament. 86% of the quotes were from there. The only quote from the New Testament that yo presented has nothing to do with killing people by Christians. It's talking about the day of Judgment. Jesus said "those who believe will be saved, but those who don't are condemmed". As Christians our missions is to share the Gospel and let God work.

  • @misterdeity And don't forget the end of the story, the Rainbow.

  • @missusjenn Or use the more modern term, 'Churchianity.'

  • The fruits Jesus is talking about is the sumission to the will of the Father expressed in the fact that Jesus is Lord. Interpreted in another way can lead us to error. Really, so you think that Christianity and the Bible has done nothing good for man or humanity? Do you say that? Who can say that having studied Western History and with a pure concience? Do you say that Christianity is always wrong [notice I say CHRISTIANITY not Christendom-those who profess to follow Christ]. Get real man.

  • Well no one can deny that the truth is EXCLUSIVE of the false teachings. Like you, why do you reject Christian doctrine or why do you defend your beliefs? Because you say that your opinion is true whereas other opinions are false and to be changed or "Converted". We as Christians hold that Jesus is the Son of God while Muslims say that he isn't. What can we say but that they are wrong if we have strong evidence for that? You are criticizing something Christianity criticizes, religious hipocrysy

  • But everywhere people believe as you do --- that those outside their faith will burn --- that they are infidels, this is what happens (particularly if they have political power). Jesus said, "By their fruits ye shall know them." History has shown these beliefs to be evil. I can look at the tree, taste the fruits. Nothing good can come of this kind of doctrine.

  • ANd I don't think they would be stonning non believers because is not a commandment of the new Testament. THe Christian and Apostles were stonned and killed becuase of the testimony of Christ. So tell me, in what instance of past history of Europe any CHRISTIAN stonned an unbeliever? They got power, didn't they? When did this happen? It's not good to make a caricature of something to fit your purposes of criticism, that doesn't work. NO Christian would agree with you in the stonning thing..

  • Sorry, I meant "stoning" in a metaphorical sense. If you prefer Christian methods of torture, next time, I'll be sure to use burning at the stake, drawing and quartering, beheading, or any of the methods used by the Grand Inquistioners (Strappado, "The Rack," etc...) to bring people back to the faith. These are the kinds of things people do when they believe others to be dirty and deserving of Hell. Not in free, secular, post-enlightenment societies, but under Christian totalitarian regimes.
