Hi im wondering if you can help me im building a go kart with a cbr600 engine in it just wondering how to bolt on the sprocket onto the carrier as the original sprocket off the bike the holes dont line up with the carrier holes thanks Mus .

im thinking of doing somthing similar
but making it road legal- indicators, brake lights and head lights abd a racing harness ect
i have been thinking about front mounting the engine to even out the weight distribution, still RWD tho.

It wasn´t too much because we built almost everything. The engine, as you see on one off the movies, is from a crashed bike.
Here (Brazil), you cant´t use it on road, it´s ilegal.
We used a "go kart" competition chassis, and made it a little bit longer, so the weigth distribution is perfect. I think you shoud try the same, because if the engine is in front, it´s too mutch weight on drive axle
