  • "its very hip" enough said

  • All things are possible ... :) Good review!

  • Very nice demo...thanks!

  • This guy is kind of nerdy, but he's waaaay less annoying than Johnny DeMarco.

  • damn that sounds like an acoustic drum set, play it through a really good amp, and throw away your stick, throne and entire drum set, maybe.

  • Are they easy to record with?

  • I just fired our drummer....

  • @Estabonbon hahah

  • Its Morpheus!

  • hey, thanks for posting this, the other peope on here with videos about this thing just want to show their hair and scale speed....I'm shaving my head and getting one of these things thanks to you!

  • thanks I have been thinking about getting something like this. I wonder why the Manufacture doesnt sell a HOW TO video . Im very old school and would love to buy one of these but it would take me years to figure it out. thanks again Roland

  • @Whyrendog

Yep, it has an internal cosm amp modeling system and guitar dsp effects processor.

  • cool machine.

  • omg that impro was so tasty!!aaaaah eargasm

  • where do you plugg it in ? (the rythm machine of course...)

  • 1:47 "I can do it on Keyboard" The Look, Awesome!

  • I started with the DR-550 back in the late 80's. I went through the DR-770, but I sold it. Now I got the DR-880. I thought it would have physically modelled drums like the V-Drums, but I guess it doesn't. Nonetheless, it works excellent with my DX7. What was looking for was a portable effect processor with the monfonic input, and this is what the DR-880 delivers so very well. Now I don't have to unscrew the effects processor from my rack. I just take the DX7 and the DR-880, and that's it.

  • What about the fills? Breaks/breakdowns? Intros? Endings? and god forbid an actual drum solo(u can forget that) That's the stuff you need on a drum machine... having such a hard time finding a drum machine with some reliable A.I.

  • The DR-880 does all that stuff, no sweat. I just got one and it's really easy to figure out.

  • very hip indeed mr milkdud

  • Anyone know any really excellent midi jazz drums to download into this baby?

    (Just the drums)

  • Hello can i ask a question. I am a bassist and am quite experimental. Can i pre-program beats on this? lets say with quite interesting timings and breaks and stops ect.? If so would appreciate knowing also if not u sound like u know alot about machines could ur reccomend one that can?

  • I have this machine, and use it for live performances and recording. Yyou can program almost anything into this machine, it can be as complex or simple as you like with regards to amount of instruments hit at once or changing time signatures. Some things are ahrder to get round than others, but almost anything is possible!

  • Cheers appreciate it
