I remember in 1998 I was asked to be someone's prom date at the last minute as her original date had a death in the family. This girl was really cute so I said yes, it turned out she really liked me and was really happy I would go with her. While driving from the prom to a house party I had "Chocolate and Cheese" in the CD Player and this was the song that came on when I switched from radio to CD. Imagine my delight when this super cute girl said "I LOVE THIS SONG!" and started singing it.

It is a common misconception that the scenes in this video were shot underwater. There was no water involved. The fact is, when Ween plays music it emits a physical 'wave' of complete awesome which directly disturbs the environment around it. It's usually edited out and suppressed at live shows, but they decided to leave it in the clip to Voodoo Lady.

If you love Ween and like Moloko, I suggest you check Asteroids galaxy Tour. To me, they've got the same whatever-it-is-that-makes-me-l­ove-them-happy-space-magic about them as Ween. Maybe you'll like them too!...Or maybe you won't. But that's not important. It's better to try 'em and not than to miss them and maybe never know. I'm well happy I found them!
