I remember when started to play wow (w/ NElf), one of my friend told me if I reach SW, he'll take me to deadmines. on lvl 8, alone, it took me an hour, darnassus, darkshore, wetlands, loch modan, dun morogh... what a journey was... but then wotlk came out, and I stopped to play. but this song brings the feeling back :'|

Everything seems so different after cata, i liked BC and i love the lore of wotLK, with cata i like vash'jir, deepholm and flying and azeroth. But its lost somthing that made it feel special :/

The war , the undead ,the demons, the terror , the intollerance , the intimidatingly large mancows and the gnomes with their dead eyes ... no...this world should never be real . I love this piece...her voice is just so hauntingly beautiful. I remember leveling in Ashenvale with my hunter, and everytime I heard this music it made whatever I was doing that much more dramatic and emotional. I feel as if all the music in WoW was very carefully composed and tailored to each specific zone, really emphasizing their visual qualities and overall essence. I don't play the game anymore, yet the music keeps calling me back...for me it has yet to get old, and I doubt it ever will.

@guardianofthewood Very much so. It's funny how wrapped up you can become in this world. It's almost scary. To think it's not even real, not in one bit real, and yet people actually WISH they could go there. I havn't played WoW for a while now, and god, this makes me miss the good old times. Pre-BC and BC I enjoyed WotLK was... meh. I'm not sure what to think about Cata... everything I actually loved and knew gets burnt to a crisp? Nice. .___.

@Crindles I know, I do the same thing with the worlds I make up when I write (I'm a novelist-in-training) or in other games such as this one, or even in fantasy books (Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, etc.) I don't really like Cata, WotLK, was okay. But I think I'll always like Pre-BC the best. And RPG's like Runescape or Dragonfable . . . or even really old games on the N64 like Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Unfortunately, though, reality is a lot more demanding.

It was 5am in the morning and as usual i was pvping like crazy. After 2 rogue's and a mage i decided to take a brake and went out to get some air when i saw around 30 cm of fresh snow it was late March and didn't expect that so i thought i would go up on the ski resort for some last fresh powder snowboarding. I didn't have a car so crazy and young i started by foot after a couple of miles i was exhausted and decided to rest at a small chapel everything was snow covert and ipod played this song..
