@dwaynE2099 I just checked out your vids and Im pretty impressed with the times you pull. However i reckon it idles too rough for my liking. Running that size cam you need a 3 inch exhaust system with 100CPSI cats, and some head work with a compression bump. Man, i reckon with that you will easily pull a dead 11 sec time... great driving too. also what power you pulling?
@bortous It is quite rough on the idle, and 950rpm is pretty high too... that's as low as it'll idle happily...
i know the exhaust is too small, the headers are too small, and the cats could be a bit better... but to do all that would cost some $3500 or more. So for now, they'll stay as they are...
As for the heads - they're on the to do list... i want to change the inlet manifold, TB and get some CNC'd heads... but that's a while away yet...
Will be awesome with a turbo killer cam - they sound tuff and have heaps of top end rush, but still nice and streetable depsite the big lift and duration.
the grumpy idle will be great, in a manual it'd be a bit of a dog down low... but with the big stall and auto box it'll be fine to drive... can't wait to put it in and get racing again...
not really... the changes are quite firm considering the stall size (6000rpm converter), the fact it is a bog stock gearbox with no work done only a shift programming revision to the factory computer...
time is being wasted with the converter being so huge as it's not ideal for a bolt-on car, but it is suited to the cam which is going in later in the year (GMM TK 237/242)...
as if u have a auto maloo???? kinda weak

Then i might do the exhaust...

Wish it was manual

@Danielhsv0 it'd be fun with a manual box in it for sure!
but i reckon it'd be a fair bit slower on the strip... but you're right, it would be nice :)...
i'm not likely to change it any time soon though.

auto gear changes sound rather lazy, sure there is some time there being wasted. nice work.
