I always just figured that Mark, as a musician see's in Juno a part of him and this sort of youth that he always wants to hang on too. It also shows him that the woman he married is a complete opposite of who he is. I never thought he wanted something with Juno other than friendship, but I could see why people would think that.

i didn't like this scene and i'm glad they didn't choose to put it in for exactly the reason jason reitman gave. i never viewed mark as a sexual predator, i kinda just saw him as a lost soul in a loveless marriage.
